Just wondering how many people would still be happy with the choice they started as at the very beginning of SoD… I foolishly rolled a troll hunter and the first 5 minutes of getting the rune explosive shot, i was in love and slowed turned to hate over each phase… I really enjoyed marks at phase 3. I was never into the melee builds hunters were pushed too…
But looking back on day one, i kinda wish i just would have rolled a shaman. I know i can still roll a shaman, its not to late to start phase 4 as a fresh shaman but the sod devs just killed my interesting with all of the nerfs to hunters and this huge long boring 7 day lock out with only 1 raid to do in phase 3…
I just wonder if you are really happy with your choice now that phase 4 is on the horizon
Still loving my rogue. All the reasons I picked it are still valid and I’m pleasantly surprised that daggers are the primary build.

Lol I’ve also rolled a hunter and honestly I thought I was being so smart and picking a safe class. Boy was I wrong. The knee jerk nerfs that this class has to deal with on a consistent basis is unfun and leaves you feeling like you have whiplash.

When you pick a class because it’s either Fotm or you’re predicting it will be Fotm, thatsgoing to be a mistake always. You should choose your race/class based off what you enjoy. My main was balance druid when they sucked in classic and it’s balance druid now. You’ll never stick with something you rolled only because it’s temporarily strong, but by all means, roll a shammy.

I went from Paladin to Shaman to (H)Warrior to (H)Priest to (H)Hunter and then another (A) Warrior
I left the PVP servers after the (H)Warrior as i could foresee the gongshow it was going to become after P1.
I ended up picking the Priest and Speccing in Shadow, They seemed super strong in P1 and i Love shadow form, BUT the real lack of dps in PVE content as I do not PVP does sting a bit. Really wish i had managed to get my Orc Warrior and Shaman xfered over from Lone Wolf when they were offering it up but I was never around when those windows came up.
Overall I dont know how i feel about it all, I barely play and iv put my sub on pause for the moment.
I am super happy with my choose of Ele shaman. Also have Rogue, Boomkin, Priest alts. I might rank up with Ele and Boomkin.
Considering I’ve been playing my shaman, druid, warlock, hunter, priest, and warrior…
I’m happy with all of them.

I will always play caster druid. Just like I played it in era and vanilla. Just like I played it in tbc, wotlk and now cata and retail. With a hunter/warlock alt. Idc. 
forget about knowing the class as it is now…
how about know the GAME as it is now?..
id of been out before phase 1 if i knew this was the path

I am a full mage main. My secondary class is also a mage. I have very little want to play other classes. If mage is good I play, if mage is bad I play.

Spriest was a horrible choice, fun in pvp but clearly blizz has no interest in making it viable dps. Combined with its utility and healing it is still useful, but in Season of Dads no casual guilds or pugs care about that stuff. And Spriests are looked at as bad dps whose healing is not needed for 1 min easy fights.
It’s like Blizzard doesn’t understand it’s own community, is this a hardcore version of wow or is it not?
I wish didnt roll a warlock after seeing how blizzard dont care these runes are bad affliction is still bad. and shadow priest are better warlock most warlocks
To be honest, my fun level is based 10% on my class and 90% on how much content my guild and I have to do.
Re-rolling to another class is not moving the needle for me much in SoD.
I wouldn’t give up that phase 1 experience. It was good, the company was good, and the world engagement was good. Even if casters were still dumped on in PvE.
Phase 2? I tried out a few other classes, Blood Moon was alright for a couple go’s, raid was long but still puggable and made plenty of friends along the way.
Phase 3? Awful. In retrospect, should have just uninstalled instead of struggling to try and make it fun with a repeated Blood Moon, casters getting abused by design choices in PvE, the longest, most boring, ranged mechanic heavy raid with awful loot and a roster boss. All bad.
Was never specifically about the class. I’d still have chosen the ones I did because the good experiences were not about being a certain class.
Love warlock tank currently.
Love mage healing currently. (currently rocking a spellfrost build and it is really cool!)
Love druid tank currently.
I’m pretty happy with my choices.
If I had known what SoD would become… I would have never started it.

I dunno I think people who rerolled shaman recently are pretty happy 
yeah… cause i play my classes as they’re the ones i want to play. I’m a healer so all of the compiling is just funny to me though.
