If you haven't watched the new Ibelin documentary on Netflix, go watch it!

Highly recommend. Very beautiful & tragic. Very very well done.

But oh my Fel, bring a tissue box, that emotional gutpunch hits harder than being canonically killed by Argus the Unmaker himself!

Netflix is being dumb lately.

“your connection isn’t fast enough to play videos, lets do a checkup! You have 180 Mbps, we recommend 15 Mbps, please increase your speed to play videos”

Yeah I don’t have Netflix, and I won’t shell out for the few things of interest on it.

I can concur with Burn. This thing had me in tears from start to finish. Anyone that has played WoW to escape their real life are going to feel seen watching this.

Also. There is a Ibelin memorial in game. Its in Crystal Lake in Elwynn Forest, near the house with the small docks. In case you wish to personally pay your respects.

Have you tried a different web browser? It acts wonky when I use Chrome with it, but Firefox works fine.

Duuuuuuuuude. I had no idea, thanks for the heads up. I honestly thought they only did the grave thing for the fox pet video.

It got cheaper, or rather it ditched the standard price, pushed everyone on it to a lower tier that runs ads. It’s not as bad as Hulu, you get at most 1 ad either at the beginning or a couple in the middle.

The internet has been acting goofy lately. It’s sporadic and seems to affect different sites at different times in various regions.
Not all at once.

I pretty much feel the same but for something like this, I just might.

Ty to all of you who explained who Ibelin was. Much appreciated.

im not sure if i can watch it bc im extremely
sensitive about that stuff and it’s so sad to watch
but i believe one of his closest friend in game help make it into a movie.

that’s really something. he must’ve had a very lasting impression bc after all these years you got your friends from a game tell his story in a movie.

rip ibelin.

I cried several times while watching it. It’s a must-watch for any WoW fan. It won Sundance Film Festival awards.

There’s maybe 3 shows that interest me on Netflixs. And given my income I don’t see 3 shows for the cost being worth the investment.

That’s valid. Only reason I have Netflix is because I still have access to an account shared by my mom and immediate family. Idk if I’d pay for my own account.

His memorial is on one of the islands across from the little house and wharf on Crystal Lake.

I watched it earlier and yes, a number of tissues used.

Does it have one of the trial versions, where you can get it for a short time for free? I dunno if they do that elsewhere but all the major stream services I know of do it here.

I just don’t wanna sub to Netflix

I just can’t stand most Netflix Originals. They’re almost always just absolutely awful at gently leading people to a conclusion. They really need to find some better directors, who can deliver the messages they wanna deliver without shoving the message down your throat. Just comes off as having an agenda instead of telling a story to me.

They also keep cranking up the prices / trying to push ads.

It’s just turned into a platform I really do not want to support.

The documentary sounds interesting though. I’ll check it out if I ever re-sub to Netflix.
