that’s just bad game design.
so if I’m a new player to mage and start doing some PvP after hitting max level, what is there to show me as the player that living bomb, which normally hits like a wet noodle is actually meant to be a painful DoT in PvP?
If I had just leveled a mage and decided to PvP there would be zero reason for me to try to use Living Bomb in PvP and to then notice it does EIGHT TIMES THE DAMAGE, unless I casually comb through mountains of patch notes?
Once again this is poorly communicated, this indicates a problem with the game balance and build where-in you have to multiply an ability’s damage by EIGHT to make it competitive. Like, this isn’t a 5% dmg increase, not a 10% increase in PvP, but 800%. That’s just insane.
The differences between PvP and PvE are now getting ridiculous, to the point where I just have no idea what I’m playing in PvP anymore and it’s getting stupid to even try to keep up with all of it. Why? Why do this?
I’m just confused at this point.
