If you had to live somewhere in WoW

If you had to spend the rest of your life living in a place in Classic WoW. Where would it be and why?

I would probably choose Brill. I love the gloomy and melancholy atmosphere. Gives me a Tim Burton vibe. Feels like a bunch of good people, stuck in a bad situation trying to make things work. I can appreciate that sentiment. It’s quite homely and I enjoy the simple life they have there. Plenty of land space, my favourite city right by and a forest that reminds you just how insignificant you are. It’s Brill for me.

I’m pretty sure you would get used to the smell eventually…

Stormwind.

Naturally.

That or Lakeshire!

Auberdine I think. Really reminds me of the Oregon coast.

This is a fun question!

Oh! I think a hard tie between Shadowglen and Lakeshire. Love those very much.

Halfhill in Vot4W on my Panda Monk.
Such peaceful, so very.

Farm some turnips, live out my days.

Edit - Wait, Classic Forums… doy.
Loved Auberdine, miss it on live but since Horde, probably Brill.

Feralas, with the music on loop.

Always thought the zone was beautiful…and being a lover of nature I believe I’d be happy there.

Or perhaps, Azshara…would just need to take care of a few Naga first.

I often wondered why we didnt see farms again. I loved the farm! I’d love a house, with a farm, fishing pond, mailbox.

Bloodhoof Village. Love the peaceful, simple atmosphere there with the lake surrounding that quiet little village.

Kharanos, nothing like coming in from the cold to a nice mug of ale. I considered Ironforge, but it’s too removed from the snow and the great forge probably makes the place too hot for me.

Yeah, I get enough humidty irl where I live. Wouldn’t be a fan of the giant forge

The farm in MoP became the garrison in WoD.

Freewind Post for me, obviously. Such a view of the dez and with lots to explore nearby.

Winterspring. I love the snowy cold weather. It’s pretty out there and was always a favorite place of mine at 60 in vanilla originally. It also felt big (and you felt small in it) which gave you more of a sense of adventure, wonder and danger around the corners.

That didn’t feel the same to me. Guess I didn’t hate it, but I did hate the mandatory feel of it. A place to just chill and invite friends to, store things you find in the world (display them) would be great in WoW.

In SWG anything you found in the world you could place in the world. Neat concept.

Ooooh I like this one too. I might just come crash at your house every now and then lol

So many great places, impossible to decide.

But somehow lost all of its charm.

I really liked the look of the Alliance garrison, Horde however… about as homey as dropping a cinder block on your foot.

All those spikes. :persevere:
