My wife and I just got a snapmaker a350 (she wanted a laser cutter and cnc machine, I wanted a 3d printer so this works for us)
She’s finally finished with her wood projects now its my turn to play with it. I can’t decide what the first thing I want to print is. I’m thinking something wow related.
Any suggestions?
A full auto lower receiver is, duh!
Cause that’s totally possible

A gnome, so you can punt it.

Clever. But you’ll get flagged for it around here methinks.
Warhammer miniatures would be rad, but I heard they go after that, which figures as it’s easily the most overpriced hobby I’ve ever set foot in. That and you gotta be vincent van gogh (or be able to pay him)!

Print your character. Print an awesome weapon if not too big.

I saw someone print their WoW OC and paint it. It looked amazing. I would probably print several

ya my character is high on the list but something that big as the first print seems like its destined to be a waste of filament.
Depending on the quality of the 3D printer, I’d like figures of my WoW characters. Definitely a polar bear to go along with my hunter, Thorland.

First response was: cat.
Second: Oh, WoW related? Pick a cat from the game.
I have a new 3D printer that still needs to be assembled. So, I’ll be answering this question for myself soon. Maybe I’ll finally download Blender and build something from scratch.
Honestly, whatever I picked would likely come out as an unidentifiable lump the first time I tried printing something.
On something like try #137 I would successfully print something WoW related. I’ve always wanted a Figureprint of my demon hunter, but the official site won’t do that, so maybe I would start there.
A 1:1 copy of my junk.
I don’t know if they would be able to print something that small though.
I made a figure of my Druids werebear form
I own an Ender 3. I love everything about it. Thingiverse is a great site if you’re just looking for things to print. Otherwise, I suggest learning how to use Fusion 360. I can’t even count the number of parts I’v replaced for various objects in my house, adapters, clips, tools. As long as it fits on my 210mm bed, I can fix it. It’s a whole world of fun and frustration. It’s the best $250 I’ve ever spent, and I do not regret it for a second.

Maybe return it and get what your wife wanted since you obviously don’t need it.
SHE wanted it. I just didn’t argue. Hell I just came home one day and it was…
“Oh by the way hunny, I spent $3000 on a new laser cutter/cnc/3d printer.”
If I just dropped $3k on it I darned well am gonna use it!
(she has her own small furniture woodworking business and wanted a CnC machine and laser cutter for some of her work)
