Then why are you crying about it? Are you saying gankers should stop being bags for 1 week out of the month for consideration of your optimal leveling efforts? Not going to happen and warmode off is the best solution.

I’m saying gankers are jerks, especially during the darkmoon fair. It’s that simple. I already turned off warmode.

Why would you be silly enough to have Warmode on at the Dark Moon Fair?

This would be the definition of “asking for it.”

Some of you are still REALLY missing what Warmode is, so I’ll explain it again:

PVP server players have been complaining for years, about getting “ganked” at lots of stuff like that which were not “sanctuaries.”

So it became a REAL customer service problem, with the suggestion being to transfer to a Non-PVP server if it bothered them so much. As you can imagine, many people felt they should not have to PAY to transfer when often the problems came with server mergers/CRZ, etc.

So Blizzard devised a way to “fix” the Customer Service Problem without admitting they were wrong. One, or possibly more people, made the suggestion of just doing away with PVP servers and instead letting players on ALL servers just turn it on and off:

“Well, JB, that is certainly a good idea but it is fairly transparent and still makes it appear like we’d be admitting we were wrong?”

“I see your point, Old Bean. However, what if we also wrap it up as something new, tying a neat bow around it and adding a few perks to it?”

“A RAISE YOU RECEIVE, JB!”

Ganking is ganking shrug It will always happen. I’m not sure why people are so offended by it. It’s part of the game. Not everything is going to be a fair fight. Yes it sucks, but you do have a solution…

1.) It is a game.
2.) Those low levels are in pvp mode.
3.) There are people out there that find that fun. Why? Who knows. Maybe it is a power thing. Maybe those are the only ones they could kill in pvp mode. Who knows.

Conclusion: Do not turn pvp mode on when you are too low.

Why are they even giving you an experience buff in war mode? Shouldn’t it be like a honor/conquest boost.

It’s like if they had a buff for pve where if you turn on “pve” mode you get more honor/conquest…

It’s okay, I’ve gotten a little bored lately. I’ll devote all of my time to destroying low level zones before I leave for my uncle’s funeral on thursday. Then you can repost all of these remarks to the alliance as the forums are flooded with crying low level toons. Just make sure you post a link here, so they understand why its happening.

I honestly don’t get the reason for low level ganking on a high level toon. Does it make you feel superior? Is it because you get mauled when you pvp at your level so killing things that cant fight back gives you a sense of accomplishment? Let me into the mind of these people so I can understand.

But… if you walk into Darkmoon with war mode on, you got exactly what you wanted - wPvP with consequences.

you Know I’ve probably ganked between 100-200 low level alliance since the DMF started and I never even thought of this until now. Time to get my friends and guildies in on the action. With the 30% buff the alliance already gets there’s a never ending flow of low level alliance to be killed I’ve found it’s amazing.

That’s what battlegrounds are for. With Warmode, it’s free game.

Yeah it used to be horde would kill alliance for fun because they like PvP and eventually the alliance got mad and now they gank all horde in sight out of extreme anger and frustration
