The carousel experience buff doesn’t persist through death, so getting ganked causes you to have to go all the way back to the faire for the buff again. Horde only gets a 10% leveling bonus though, so at least turning off warmode isn’t as bad.

I fought for the alliance back before they added the 30% bonus. I thought it was ridiculous how horde dominated the pvp landscape was.
That being said, I’ve leveled both factions and I get ganked while leveling horde way more often, even back before the bonus was added.

Ganking is a lot more common now than it used to be though. I’m willing to risk being ganked for the bonuses, especially the abilities. The people doing the ganking are still being jerks.

I keep hearing this but to me it’s utter nonsense. The ONLY time i EVER saw an alliance at ALL pre 30% was entire raids of alliance getting phased into my shard to kill an elite. At which point they would slaughter me and 1 or 2 other hordies who were there for the same thing. And the occasional 5 man gank squad, normally with 3 stealthers and some kind of healer/ranged.

there is a difference between 120 v 1-119
there is also a difference between 1 person v 6.
It be like driving a prius, and getting beaten by a GTR and calling it fair. Then losing to a y2k sports bike and flipping out calling it unbalanced.

Alliance love ganking in low level town and quest hub areas for some reason. This was true before the 30% bonus in my experience. I got ganked way more while leveling horde. Maybe I just got more unlucky, but I definitely got ganked more while leveling as horde.
Can always just turn it off, so that way that we wouldn’t get these kinds of complaints.

I used to go to Thrallmar and kill the same DK for weeks.
Now everytime I go to Northrend theres an Alliance creeping the zep landing area.
It’s like you guys have nothing better to do… AND their gear is usually bad lol.
