Mining a busted node is different because it’s not intended to respawn that fast while the bats are.
Farm spots tend to get nerfed/left alone depending on how much loot you get. Doesn’t matter how many bats you kill if you’re only earning like 5K an hour for it.
Unless bots start farming the area, then they’ll probably nerf the spot after they spend some time watching the bots to see how they work so they can make sure they hit as many as possible.
Skinning is balanced differently. Skinning is also cooking mats farming, and they want food to be affordable. Skinning mobs are typically very fast spawning or very dense spawning, that is the design intention. The design intention with ore is for it to be more limited. Even though with mining you are typically interacting with less objects per hour, you make more value from it overall. The Reven bats are no different from the Korthia bears. The Korthia bears spawn a few seconds slower, but there is also way more of them per camp.
cheating is determined by the game maker. did they make the bats respawn that fast INTENIONALLY? Then no, its not cheating to farm them.
WE ALL know they dont make ore nodes INTENTIONALLY to respawn that fast. So yes, it would be cheating to abuse it and not report it.
This thread smells like bait.
That wasn’t the point either, there is a cutoff.
And no… you won’t usually get arrested for slapping someone, but you will most likely for hitting someone with a bat.
The point was that there are a various degrees of punishments for various degrees of wrongdoings.
