Patrick Dawson explained that the Development Team has heard the player feedback on this topic and is looking into updating the systems and tools, ensuring that they are facilitating group creation without removing the social aspects that the Classic community wants.

Patrick and Tim also shared a great anecdote about a time when their Dungeon Finder group wiped and players in the group did not know where the portal to the Dungeon was, because they had never discovered it in the open world. One of the key negatives to the Dungeon Finder is the teleportation inside the Dungeon, which does take away a massive part of the open world.

Please add teleporting in to dungeons like LFD due to Horde imbalance

So on my characters left on PvP servers, it is nearly impossible to use a summon stone and extremely difficult to even get in to dungeons. This is an issue that is basically isolated to alliance players on PvP horde-dominated servers (which is most PvP servers). If that means LFG chat is no longer going to be required to make a group I am going to be so happy. I don’t care about the spam. The chat there can be so, so bad. I have actually been told (alongside others making groups at the time) that "Sorry this isn’t the time for making groups we just want to complain (can’t say what they really said without getting flagged.) A reason why I wanted LFD or something else was to escape LFG chat toxicity.

Some people that I have grouped with in guilds even won’t touch LFG chat with a ten foot pole.

The actual representative survey with proper methodology they used prior to announcement to make the decision not to implement LFD. According to that survey data, and the statistics, For every player that makes a whiny LFD post on this forum, there is 3.13 players that disagree with them, but don’t make the trip to these forums when they don’t have something to disagree with. It really is the silent majority and it’s kind of funny to think about it as such.
