If you don't forgive the forsaken

That’s okay.
Really, it is. Some of them were cannibals. For a time, a lot of them hated anything that had a heartbeat. Many of them took a morbid fanaticism with spreading death.

But…do try to understand them. They’re not evil. The forsaken perspective is one forged from experiencing countless horrors that no one, and I do mean no one, can compare to. Not the orcs with their blood rage, the Draenei and their exodus, nobody.
And how they’ve dealt with it is…it’s the best they can do, for better or worse.
And while I know many of their actions are inexcusable, I…can’t see them as anything other than tragic. They’re not monsters, or abominations - they’re just people trying to make sense of a world that doesn’t anymore.

The space ship, demon invasion thing was kinda bad for us space goats :frowning:

On a real note, I actually adore the Forsaken story and if they didn’t have such a hunchback I would play a bunch of them with pink Mohawks.

It would make more sense if they weren’t in it.

Hard to go wrong with’em. :3

So…yeah - but they do - and they exist - and you’ve gotta live with it.

Their not living with it. Their undead.

Double standards.

I think I might be a little evil.

But I have a heart of gold and no I didn’t steal it.

If you choose to be, do what you wanna do, for what reasons you wiish. We know for a fact that you’ll go…somewhere when you’re felled one day. But if you’re still trying to do the right stuff, I respect you hun.

Well hun, they ain’t dead. Whether or not they got a heartbeat’s kinda null at this point. Honestly my definition of living and dead really just is defined by whether or not you can leave the shadowlands.

I’d be more cool with the undead once they stop actively trying to make more of themselves. “What are we if not slaves to this curse?” indeed, and yet it’s forced upon others.

That said, the starting zone is stuck in the Cata timeline, so maybe they already have stopped?

I’m actually grateful for the Forsaken, they’re the reason I became a DK

This is how I died first time thanks to this cute Zombie Warlock (or Priest maybe?)

Stop being modest :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t want the bodies to go to waste, that’s disrespectful to the corpse.

They have - around MoP the Horde was really cracking down on the forsaken “recruitment” ideals - but Sylvie doubled down on it once she became warcheif. You had people being raised in the Broken Isles and in the Fourth war - a LOT of people being raised against their will in the Fourth war - but I think the reality of it really hit home with Derrick Proudmoore - because the whole thing about being raised was that…you had free will. He wasn’t supposed to, in Sylvanas’s plan - and that went against everything the forsaken stood for. In “Before the Storm”, civillian forsaken look at the newly-raised as sort of like…“Well, you’re here, regardless of whether or not you wanted to be. I’m really sorry about that, but we’ll support you the best we can.”

And in Shadowlands, that support structure is super strengthened - but I don’t think anyone is being raised on purpose anymore.

I like gnomes. How about gnome undead?

The Forsaken are truly ahead of their time. They knew the Shadowlands were so bad that they’d rather deal with all the Horde vs Alliance nonsense instead.

Oh…
oh crap.
Shoot.
You’re like…100% right though…
Tbh I would’ve preferred Azeroth too. The mere thought of ending up in Bastion with my mind wiped is terrifying.

The shadowlands is fixed so now they can die. Cause that was literally what shadowlands was about. The forsaken and other people who commited terrible acts and got sent to the maw for it but they just couldn’t handle that and so sylvanas struck a deal with essentially satan of the wow universe and risked everyone else’s hide for a purely selfish reason so in other words. “The consequences of my actions what are you doing here”

The shadowlands sucks lol
