This is not a snarky post about people who complain. This is about the effective way to complain.
If you don’t like what Blizzard is doing, you need to unsub and tell them why. They do not really listen until subs drop alarmingly.
You can’t stay to mess around in Classic. You can’t stay to get that sweet six month sub reward. If you are really unhappy with no flying or M+ special treatment or the Maw or class balance or whatever is making the game not fun for you? You have to quit and stay quit until you hear Blizzard say they made mistakes.
When we did that in WoD we at least got Legion, which was better.
When my sub runs out in March I will make a specific post about what I need to see to come back. And I will also be boycotting any WoW related phone games.
Tell them they have to do better by closing your wallet.
That might have been effective in the past but I don’t think it works like that anymore. It’s about the metrics nowadays and of course the bottom line revenues and income.
It half feels like this is what they want. Funnel the hardcores into M+ and heroic+ raiding, ditch the rest of the content so they no longer have to pretend to even care about it.
I have to absolutely agree with you. if we are being totally honest and frank at the end of the day Blizz only care about the profit…so its simple. unsub and move. I surely did that. However I think a lot of people have a 6 month sub plan and therefore gonna stay on forums until it runs out.
Personally I’m getting tired of this “we are working on it” and “we didn’t expect this reaction” or the " one bad expan followed by a good one". I pay a monthly sub plus purchase at full price an expansion form an AAA company. I will not accept an unfinished product. this whole “mmorpgs are a working progress” is total BS. sure it might be for a new game not not a 16 year old mmorpg.
I’m the normal world this is what people would do.
Sadly, this is the internet. People will hate watch/listen/play games solely so they can come on forums and be angry, instead of just moving on to something they actually enjoy.
Thats probably the avenue we will take, but we need to first voice our complaints or they wont know why we all left, and probably do something some idiot twitch streamer wants instead.
This decision will baffle me to the end of my days. How could they possibly think that a room full of PC enthusiasts, most of whom built their own rigs I would imagine, who spent their hard earned money to be there, would be pleased with an announcement for a mobile game…?
That’s just insanity. Announce the game if you want, but don’t make it the centrepiece attraction for a PC gaming crowd…
But OP, how else will the pizza parlor know I hate them if I don’t hate-eat their pizza as I glare into their eyes and yell about how much I hate them as flecks of cheese fly out of my mouth?
