No wrong answers, just curious what others are planning.
Personally for a couple weeks (not this week) I’ll be doing four low keys like +2 to +6 just to get a couple slots for my main two tanks, that way they have gear to upgrade later with valor.
Not planning to do 10-15 ranges much until week 5 because then we’ll have double leggo power spikes and a good understanding of routing
Same thing I do every season. Farm the same gear but higher ilvl!
Really though, I’m excited to have a less impactful affix this season.
I feel ya! Even with the nerf to Blood splattered scale I still want it on all five tanks sooner rather than later

Push KSM as fast as possible for the upgrades, then when I have double leggo go for the +20s to get the conduits.

M+ is always a lot of fun at the start of the season as player skill allows one to experiment and learn faster than others.
I’m really looking forward to just jumping into the content when I can.
I’ve given up on getting the scale on my paladin. My other 2 tanks have gotten it like 3 times each. My paladin has been through DOS 30+ times and still nothing. I joke, but I think I can run that place blind folded at this point.
Everytime I run it, I remind myself why I hand RNG loot. I’d rather have a currency I can earn.
To your original question, I’ll probably hold off even playing for a bit, or I’ll work on some low level alts a bit while stuff clears out. With all the time gates, no real rush.
Honestly, I want an affix that changes each dungeon a lot.
Tormented was so barebones and booorrring.

I’m going to get KSM in week 2 of the new season, then start pushing right away. I want to be in the +20 range once 4pc and double leggo drop.
I’m going for the title this season while all my friends are still playing. I suspect like 33-3400 IO will be the low end of the range.
I got into a mythic raiding guild, too, so I can realistically build a true BiS set.
Some of the powers from tormented were really strong. Healers with infinite mana, tanks with big DR at the start of pulls plus thorns damage, and dps juggling mobs with volcanic. And the fights themselves usually needed some cds from at least the healer. Not as scary as prideful, but they definitely impacted the flow of the dungeon. I’ll be happy to just worry about the dungeon itself.
i’m gonna get me S3 mount as soon as possible, and then i’m gonna try and get groups together for them to get their mounts. and then once 9.2.5 launches i will expand this to my horde friends
Hopefully I can get to pugging 24s and or even get a team going to do 27s. Am hoping I can get to that point but idk. I’ll even just be happy with pugging 22s.

Kind of looking foward to 2 leggos and having tried out all covenants for raiding.
I’d like to focus on one character and actually get some nice achievements this season.
Do a few keys here and there with my guild. Probably try to get a casual push team created as well. I want the ksm mount but not going to try and get it for a couple of months at least.
I have been away a year or so (and I still hate the vault gearing up trickle)… but I might try a bit again on this new toon. I will probably just heal a bunch of pugs to see the routes people and say, after 4 weeks or so, if I feel I know the routes well enough I’ll do what I like better and tank em.
Although I may also hold out until 9.2.5 as every one of my wow friends is horde… hehe
I no longer even plan to work KSM - I missed it by 1 dungeon back in BfA and well, I see no reason to repeat that ever again. King’s Rest was just murder with PuGs. The good news, this means I will probably only do +6 level haha. I’m done with the stress of beyond that.
I’ll probably dabble a bit until my sub runs out, but unlike the last 3 xpacs, I found no path to earn it in game this xpac. And I’m not gonna pay with real money, so that will be the end of my long, casual wow “career” haha.

9.2 M+ is going to be a cakewalk. My strategy:
Wait until +20 prices come down to a reasonable level, then buy all the portals and GG.
