You die tonight… and wake up in Azeroth… in the city/town of your choosing, with all your gold combined and you have the ability to be as powerful as your most highest geared character…
Which option would you choose?
Am I waking up as a human in Azeroth?
Because then I’d just do business as usual on Earth. Nothing duller than playing a human in a fantasy game.

Do we still have the immortal spirits that our characters have? Because if I could be immortal on Azeroth, sure…but if not, heck no. That place has a planet-ending threat show up every two years. I don’t know why anyone would choose to live there.
Happy to die and wake up in Azeroth as any of my characters. Tis an easy question.
I can’t save this world on my own. I can save Azeroth with some friends :3. I can do all the good I want to do but can’t in this world.

Only if I get the immortal soul the PCs have. Otherwise, nah I’m good on this side of reality.
I feel like I have a decent amount of gold and could retire in a nice place to watch the world burn.

As a human npc? Likely dead the next time the Horde invade or one of the 177 deadly cosmic forces come visiting.
Edit: I missed that I can wake up as my highest geared character.

Real answer, business as usual.
However, if I had to take option two I would want to wake up as my old Tauren Druid, and live on one of those floating islands in BC Nagrand. That is still my favorite zone in the game to this day. Live in a little cottage in the sky tending my little garden.
My highest ever geared was back in original Wrath where I actually placed high enough to be one of the top in WoW progress and again in Cata. On my warrior. Those are the only two versions of myself I would want to come into WoW as if it was to be me actually coming in and being that. Not my warrior by choice though. My guild refused to let my pally dps in the raids so only my war got the goods. I would be happy on that though.
That is the time period when I would want to come back in. Or in Legion when my DH was one of the top toons but I stopped playing that toon after a while.
Me in the past at my very best was way better than me at my best right now. Doubt I am in even the top 100,000 now in retail.
Yea I would take that offer only if I could come back as the best of what I USED to be vs the best of what I am right now.
Considering my “main” is another version of my forum profile, I’d say this because I look FABULOUS.

Unless I got to pick my race I’d rather stay alive in this world as nothing is more boring than being a human in a world of fantasy, worse to end up dying as a human when you could of been anything else of your choosing.
Azeroth, for sure! Probably hit my head a lot on low doorways though, the first few days. Plus like another poster already said, Fabulous!
