If You Could Wield the Sword of Sargeras for One Day

What would you do with it?

Use it as a bartering mechanism to bring Arthas back.

I would take it to Frost Giant offices and ask Metzen to give Danuser a telephone call and explain to him how Gorribal / Gorselach / Taeselach work and how if a Big Sword is broken and made into two little swords, you don’t have a Big Sword and a Little Sword… you have two little swords.

I would stab Azeroth.

How would anyone pull it out of the planet???

Arthas is a sphere of energy, so I don’t think he’s coming back to Azeroth, or even should, just saying. I don’t wish to wield it, because it’s a 2 handed sword, and DH’s can’t wield 2 handed swords.

Lord Illidan knows the way !

What sword?

I’m trying to imagine how my tiny robotic gnome hands would hold a sword the size of a skyscraper.

I think it would crush me if I tried

You just have to slowly push it in further since she’s already shanked. Maybe a little twist here, maybe a little twist there.

There are numerous ways to work it.

If they had a competent writing team, that actually followed the beats in WoW laid out over the years, it could very easily be done (even with the massive screw up they did in Slands).

And, yes, before anyone decides to try and snark at me - I am a published author, with over 80 titles (mostly shorts). I know of what I speak.

Assuming it shrunk to appropriate wielding size, go farm everything to one-shot Mythic bosses.

If it was still a giant freaking sword, run around knocking over mountains and cities :stuck_out_tongue:

It definitely seemed like a dropped potential. The sword is CLEARLY some uber-mythical starmetal whatever that Sargaras wielded. Wouldn’t they want to be researching how to melt that sucker down for parts?

Plus, yeah, giant sword sticking out of the planet. That’s gotta cause some environmental issues, like there should be crazy weird storms over Silithus due to it being a giant lightning rod or something.

Compared to that three mile long sword, we’re ALL tiny.

Right? One way would be a subsection of goblins trying to make profit from it and mechagnomes, looking to enhance themselves.

Another way would be having it play in to professions in some way. Alchemists and enchanters, maybe, would want to be transmuting/disenchanting the metal. Leatherworkers could be working on some type of saddle, due to characters now being dismounted due to nearby instability that has cropped up. BS and engi’s could be working on creating something to dismantle the thing.

There are a lot of avenues they could go with it. but, ya know, we get “What sword?”

Let’s be real here, I’d end all of reality.

Or atleast the planet so that way I don’t have to deal with Karen’s Nonsense anymore.

Pull it out of the freakin’ planet !!!

Plus, one of the giant annoyances with BFA was that while we were busy killing each other over Azerite, they COMPLETELY ignored the actual Silithus zone in terms of updating for world quests, assaults, ACTUAL story lore, etc.

Sure, we got the Black Prince and Diamond Dwarf hanging out in the Heart, but what an entire waste of blowing up the freaking zone. It felt like another big middle finger to NEs in destroying a hugely important lore area and leaving a smoking crater.

I would… drop it on Stormwind… specifically the Night Elf refugee camps.
