Anways per the title, which npc would you like to see turn into a “Punching Bag”/“training dummy” They could even have dialogue they like to shout.

I suppose I could chose Genn as a target dummy … and that every time I hit him, no matter what I did or used, he just yelled “Sylllvannnas!!!111” … but then, that’s not really any different than the actual Genn.
Most one-dimensional, boring chr in the entire game.

In just the one scene in the jail cell with Saurfang, he had more depth and range than Genn has had since he was introduced into the game. lol
He’s felt sorrow for the loss of his father and still feels the weight of having to lead the Alliance.
It’s easy to right him off because of how he was CGI-Brad-Pitt’ed … but he’s a thousand percent better than Genn. I mean, a dead bush is too, but still…
Not enough stuffing, I would choose Nomi as my punching bag.
He sqeeks when I punch him.

Eh he was also a spoiled prince who should have been raised to be a king instead of a crybaby. Maybe if he had to fight for what was his like daddy did in the orc slave pits, he wouldn’t feel so bad about having to do his job.
I’m a Horde player, so anyone can correct me on this if I’m wrong/ out of turn:
But every scene I’ve seen Anduin (in terms of growing up), he’s been with Genn. Genn was his “father figure” after Varian died.
So should we be surprised if he grew up as a whiner, when he was raised by the King of all Whiners?? lol
That being said, even as a Horde-centric player, I know it’s popular to pile on Anduin and hate, but I never saw him as a whiner. Just a kid who didn’t know what to do. Like, just because he’s “King” he’s supposed to have all the answers and he’s like “I don’t know wtf to do, I’m just a kid!” So I get that it comes off like whining… I just never saw it like that.
All I saw was his surrounded by ineptitude and weakness. And any time you try and call them out on it, they just reply “stop WHINING!!!”
In a word: deflection.

Actually he is an adult now, and during MoP he was with a Darkspear troll in the temple of the * its the Cat one) i cant think of its name. But pretty much he is not always around Genn on the alliance side, Maybe its different for the horde story?
I’m talking about his overall chr arc.
Or are you trying to say that the current Silithus clip, he’s “just whining?” I can’t take anyone seriously that’s still clinging to this meme if you’re going to say that.

Nope, i also was not aware it was a meme, sorry i don’t keep up with memes XD i was actually talking about how he has grown more whiney since MoP. in MoP he seemed more grown up then he does now, maybe because he didn’t have the kingdom to lead?
There’s never been a character I wanted to punch in the face more than Nathanos Blightcaller in BfA.

like i said maybe his story arc looks different on the horde side, or i just need to replay the story since my memory can get fuzzy XD.

When it came to Anduin on the Horde side of MoP, for me, he startled off as a “Dreamer” because he was trying to make his dream of peace come true during a time of War. Then a Brave Fool when he took on Garrosh and squashed by a bell.
After that, leading up to SL he had been cast as uncertain of himself because he was expected to fill his dad’s big boots and Genn, Velen, or Jaina weren’t really helpful in helping him navigate through his new role as king.
Then SL, taken over by Arthas and left a Wrecked Warrior because of the mental damage left from dealing with that possession and breaking free.
So, no I wouldn’t want an Anduin punching bag but would take a Genn, Velen, Jaina, and Thrall who are just letting him wonder around to evidently “find himself”.
