1: add solo Q. Some of us dont have a giant list of rank 1 players to play with, and we dont enjoy sitting in the LFG for longer than we actually play the game. Yes it would be hard to earn rating this way if you get grouped bad comps/ horrible players but at least i would be playing games instead of waiting in LFG. But the thing is… if you play enough you will eventually make friends/ meet other players on your level to climb with… its basically an improved version of LFG.
2: Disable the Overpowered items. Plain and simple… nobody likes fighting against some1 who has an unfair advantage against them because their gear has powerful procs and their gear doesnt.
3: Bring back reforging: This would allow different playstyles and make it fun/interesting again.
4: improve talents: Most rows of talents only have 1 good choice to choose from… this means every class is basically the same thing over and over again… if we had better talents in each row we could “customize” our character more and create unique play styles . NO MORE COOKIE CUTTER CLASSES. make character customization great again!!!
5: better class balance. “bring the player , not the class” is a lie. its a flat out lie and u know it. no matter how good a disc priest is he will never be as fast as an RDruid. See the problem is rdruid basically has it all… insane mobility, shapeshift, dots, hots, stuns, etc… priest has horrid mobility, bad mana management and cant simply shapeshift for CC immunity. of course there are some godlike players out there who somehow make it work… but just imagine if those godlike players were playing Rdruid instead… they would be much better
Disable effects of pve items (weapons, trinkets and azerite traits includes) on instanced pvp.
If Blizzard insists on having Azerite traits, then disable pve traits and put vendors who gives Azerite Gear with traits specifically for pvp (these will only work on instanced pvp, dueling and wpvp. Just like WoD, do you remember it? Yeah, a good gearing and wpvp system).
Don’t wanna vendors and gonna insist on rng gearing? Ok, then give us daily objectives for pvp (arena, skirmishes, bg, rbg, wpvp, whatever - NO ASHRAN) rewarding pvp gear, Azerite parts and pvp trinkets included. This, aside of the weekly cap and stuff. Since pve items would be inactive on pvp combat, the ilvl difference shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
There’s a lot of ways for making pvp more enjoyable (maybe not GOOD but, at least, somewhat desirable and funny) without breaking this ActiBlizzard model.
yeah 2’s or 3’s on a single queue but you can maybe leave and the game will abort and not cause a loss for everyone involved in the first 10-15 seconds of a 1 minute wait.
Besides revert most things to mop,
I would,
-Return to class based elite gear
-Balance once a month and I would probably do away with pvp talents and make some baseline because that’s a lot to lose, I just don’t like percent based dmg spells. Examples of what I would make baseline is buffs, like how creative is that removing talents and selling them off as pvp talents.
VENDORS… biggest thing. Cause I’m kind of sick of getting vets/crit gear that I basically have no use for. specific vendors that offer gear you can only wear in pvp if blizz insists on keeping this loot system. Just so that play style in arena feels better at least
pve passive effects disabled from pvp like in legion
WoD Gearing system. Too much to go into detail wit but would eliminate benefit of using PvE gear or trinkets.
Make consistent damage and healing high. No more dampening games. You will lose because you played badly and can’t recover or died in a setup.
Take away DPS self healing or greatly reduce it. You rely on healers to be healed, and defensive/ultility/mobility cooldowns to avoid damage. Preferably none of these can be used while under the effects of CC.
Add 4th PvP talent and do a complete overhaul of them. Most were not changed since Legion.
Vendors
Revert Class Pruning
Buff sustained damage for underperforming specs
Nerf or remove self healing for non hybrid specs
Bring back utility to classes
Class balance
Remove gimmick items like Maledict.
Remove healer mana regen nerf and maledict trinkets. Nerf OP PvE items.
Balance PvP more frequently, so all non-tank specs are competitive.
In BFA, Blizzard rarely changes stuff for PvP. We’ve gone from flavor-of-the-month specs to flavor-of-the-season specs. If you’re not playing one of the good specs, better reroll or better luck next season.
Start a group and call it “Anyone Welcome”. Even when I had an ilvl of 350 on my enh shaman it would take about 1 or 2 mins to get a partner. Sometimes they were good and sometimes they were bad. But, it’d be the same as a solo queue system.
Yeah, but that defeats the purpose and isn’t what people want with soloq.
The whole idea of soloq comes from not needing to make an lfg, but just entering a queue and being paired with people of your experience/mmr/cr without having to look. Soloq is more than just wanting to be paired with someone. Look at it like a comp for overwatch, you don’t have to do that as a group but you’re paired with people off your mmr.
Unfortunately in games that have it implemented it generally doesnt work out that way. Solo que has so many issues with that effect its own bracket and other brackets. I get why you want solo que, but sorry, this isnt a solo game. QoL features that have been geared to the solo player in a MMO help to ruin the MMO and need to stop. Including this game.
Remove maledict trinket
Make pve trinkets unusable in arena
Allow only pvp gear in arena or nerf pve gear in arena
Maybe bring back pvp resilience gear
Bring back pvp vendors
Solo que
There, I just made pvp 10x better.
