If you could go to the New Kingdom in Egypt

What food would you gift the Pharoh with? I would give him a piece of New York style pizza, sausage and mushrooms. The only difficult part is what pizza place to get it from. I must please the God King.

That’s easy. Dominos, BBQ meat lovers. The best pizza.

The Best Pizza is “Joe’s Brick Oven Pizzeria” in New York. Trust me on this. Yes it’s in the Bronx, but that’s alright.
I’m telling you, only a few places ever have compared since then and their crust is insane. It is THAT good.

Well, that depends. Do I have a reliable, secure method for extraction if things go south?

If the answer is yes, Pop Rocks.

Something fancy but new world: the best chocolate I can put my hands on probably

Tacos.

Americans…
It should be an authentic Italian style pizza, not the garbage you Americans eat. :face_vomiting:

How dare you!

The thing is other than the tomatoes in a margherita, literally everything else is already a known quantity and has been for a long time (the precursor to pizza used caramelized onions for one - it’s still done that way as a separate dish in parts of France and Italy)

Winner!! That would 100% please me, too!!

Which version of authentic Italian pizza? Are we talking about the original ones that were used as plates in places like Pompeii, or are you skipping ahead to when the tomatoes first made it onto a pizza?

I still vote for Costco pizza

Alternately coffee could work (and since I know where to procure it I might even survive the inevitable moment where I realize that the pharaoh wants more of the stuff while crossing the atlantic in a galley is certain death) - it’s not new world but until the 15th century it wasn’t popularized outside of Ethiopia.
