Demon Hunters are worse than Death Knights when it comes to being irrelevant to the story or anything going on after their xpac.
At least Death Knights are getting progressing lore soon.

IMO, demon hunters are like paladins in that they’re the enemies of anything that wants to destroy and enslave Azeroth or it’s peoples.
So much salt towards Demon Hunters… tsk. A very fun class to play, not bound by pesky things like gravity. And we look fabulous.
I’d remove Paladins ( IF I had to choose).

Blind
Evasion
Cloak
Vanish
Feint
Kidney
Etc.
That is why they are in demand.

Additionally, my point was they are good in GROUP play. And in PvP unless you have a healer backing you up, youre far more likely to die than a class with self heals is.
As far at the rest of the rogue toolkit…yep, group play.
Fact is that the best part of rogue is the DPS they crank out in a raid or other group setting. The rest is fluff.
For PVE and world PvP, they rot compared to pretty much any other class.
I had a rogue going against my DH that was literally 40 ilvls lower than the rogue and nearly beat the guy. Had he not had some insane trinket he fired off at the last second he’d have lost.
Rogue in and of itself is a crap class.
This would have a Chernobyl like effect I believe.

Pretty sure we as Paladins have that honor. 
DH does get pretty key bangy. I lost interest pretty early on with mine.
A couple of its movement abilites are seriously useful before one has flight, but that can probably be just as easily done with warriors leap in many cases.
DH reminds me of Beastmaster. Just bang some keys and you win.

This is where you are flat out wrong. They mitigate damage better then the vast majority of specs. That’s WHY they are so good. They can either avoid damage completely or minimize it.
Sounds like you went against a terrible rogue.
It’s one of the strongest classes in game right now and has been since… almost forever.
This isn’t even a discussion point. It’s such a ridiculous thing to argue.
I would go with that 4 button hero class as well. Aka DH!

Any current and all future “hero” classes simply because of the expectation that they should be OP due to being a “hero” class.
I love that no one says shamans.
