Rewrite the ending of Bastion’s story. Banish the forsworn to the Maw. Exile their stewards to Revendreth to rebuild it.
This is the thanks we get for letting the stinky vermin into our faction.
I would change PvP gear back to MoP/WoD PvP gear. 1 honor 1 conquest set with NO upgrades dependent on rating.
Then I can go back to spamming random battlegrounds from beginning til end of an expansion.

The entire player base data would be wiped clean. As in every character, achievement, and such gone. Clean slate and fresh start, or perhaps end for some, maybe even many. Not a great idea, but one I would be interested in seeing how it played out.
Otherwise I can not think of just ‘1’ thing to change. Would need more for all the changes I would like to do.
Dye kits for transmog.

I would roll back ALL the “sensitivity” changes. I’d restore all /silly and /flirt lines. I’d put the skimpy human painting back up. I’d bring back Mac’Aree. I’d restore the Big Love Rocket’s name, and I’d even restore the “offensive” /flirt and /silly commands that were removed years ago for being “too much.”
That would be the change I would choose.

I would separate oceania entirely from american servers.
Really hate when i join a random only to end in a oceanic realm and gets 500ms+ latency

I have several pages but if I had to choose just one at this moment in time it would be:
Replace all anti-immersive features in the later expansions with the immersive structure used in the original expansions.
For example: remove all pop-up talking heads for traditional quest communication scrolls pick-ups from an NPC denoted with a unique colored quest mark on map and over head.
I’d make Reputations and Currencies account bound. Grinding for stuff on one character, that you already have on another is lame.

I would remake equipment. I would replace item level with item tiers, one tier for each raid season. I would make all set bonuses 4 piece, available on all 8 armor slots. I would move all armor legendaries to accessory slots. I would make all items able to be enhanced to the current tier with tradable materials that drop from mythic+ and raids. I would make all items BoE. I would get rid of all legendary equip restrictions, and add a legendary power to all raid weapons.

I’m a fan of the UK version, I’ve never seen the US copy.
I think Greta Thunberg has a much stronger claim to that phrase.
