Yes inflation will happen in SoD. The pauses at level 25 and the extra gold from quest rewards mean there is more gold in circulation.
Bots make inflation happen more rapidly. GDKP facilitates the injection of bought gold into circulation.

I gdkp’d in Classic and Wrath, and like it as an actual system but I’m just not naive enough to not see the RMT promotion it does. I just don’t personally even care about RMT one way or another.
