It’s hard to choose. Kind of love both characters.
He didn’t really choose them: The Alliance don’t trust him in the slightest, to the point that Anduin punched him in the face.
He used the Alliance for his own means. They just happened to align with some of the Alliance’s interests.

I’m choosing both for the items. You can do both reps. Wrathion also does say his earlier actions were a mistake. He was like 5 years old at the time, so I think I can at least cautiously forgive him for now. But still keep him at arm’s length. Just give me my rep unlocks.

Wrathion was a chad during Battle for Azeroth against N’Zoth. Meanwhile, Sabellian didn’t lift a finger to help us with N’Zoth.
He pretty much just came in after all of that was over and is like “thanks for dealing with that problem; I’ll be taking over now.”

In fairness there was no other way it took multiple expansions of research to find a cure. And it’s kinda hard to imprison a dragon

Sabellian claimed to alex to have spent millenia trying to save his flight. IIRC he literally spent that time working with his dragon dad all the way up until DW went to go buy milk before TBC… Or hes lying
…or the devs are terrible at lore QC. The fact that Alex didn’t freak about this and threaten to eat him for it shocked me considering her history with the black flight and how he presents himself.
Add to this that he claims to be corruption free and to have freed others of his flight of corruption? IDK. All black dragons that worked with DW we have seen to date have been corrupted or kinda on the evil side. Work with him to get some gronn killed? Sure but trusting this guy near the rest of the dragon flights and giving him lots of power? ehhh
Also, like others have asked. Why wasn’t Ebyssian a nomination?
