If you bg from 61-70 you can have a full pvp set at 70

No excuse to see 70s in bgs with 160k hp

While i agree and its way before 70 yhat youll cap on honour. Plenty of people dont bg to level so its understandable imo.

Imo the fault is more on blizzard for designing a system with such a massive power gap. Despite the reality that it only exists for people who didnt do the bare minimum

190k at 61 with the right setup. Missing a few options here too.
Other Class/DPS can get higher I am sure.
Gearing doesn’t really seem like a huge problem, access is though plus coming up against the Talent Trees feels awkward.

I’m talking about 70s. You are gaming the system and are everything wrong with leveling bgs. But thats another topic

By using Crafted pieces? Seems like what you are advocating players do at 70 too?
Sorry I missed that. :dracthyr_shrug:

Become a crafter and arm the masses with good stuff.
Is everyone doing their part…?

It’s barely any experience or honor if you lose though, no thanks. At best I might do a few at 69 so I can get trinkets or something but that’s about it

Play to win, players will need all they can get facing Sync Teams in 61-69.
Gear before PVP.

What do you think is going to happen at level 70 with 180-300k hp?

You win some, you lose some? Even if you lose an epic BG @ 70 you’ll still get a decent chunk of honor. I haven’t had a problem on my characters.

There is inexpensive (depending on server, I guess) crafted green gear you can buy in the AH that scales to 398 in pvp. Not the best, but at least you won’t be griefing your own team.

It has boggled me since the xpac launched why people PvE-rushed to 70 then cried about being undergeared for PvP at 70. I played BGs in-between questing and pretty easily got enough honor for near full honor sets, not for just one but for a few toons…

I got to 67 with 16 bgs (12-4) and had 11k honor. Did some mining and a handful of dungeons too. Just started cobalt farm to get to 70 as I’m now 69 and almost honor capped.

Before 70 we can definitely get PVP Blood Tokens from box drops and WQ.
Just did the PVP WQ Arcana on my 61, (tough one lol) and it rewarded ilvl 236 Drake pc.
ilvl 236…
Which does not scale up in PVP, not even a Tooltip for it.

yeah. I mean even pve gear isn’t the worst for pvp as long as it’s relatively decent ilvl. like 390+

20 ilvl difference isn’t the end of the world. but 330s into 411s is a bad joke. It’s the type of gear gap that shouldn’t ever exist IMHO.

Expansion should start with blues at a flat hundred ilvl. 200, 300, whatever. Then BiS tier is 20 above that, with an inbetween bracket for between the baseline and that 20 higher.

Then 20ish up per content patch. Ending with high low 60’s or a final content patch breaking into the 70s. (like wotlk, 277 and 283? being the highest ilvls in the final patch.) up from 200.

From 340 to 411 we’re already looking at ilvl gaps that entire expansions basically didn’t have. lol. I just REALLY hate the ilvl bloat that came with catering to casual pvers and giving them free content. It really is pve ruining pvp. On a way larger scale.

ofc gear and gear scaling and gear gaps aren’t the beginning and end of pvp balance. it’s just frustrating to see people getting absolutely butchered in the 1st patch of an expansion when it should be avoidable from the drawing board.

Tell me your bad at pvp without saying “I suck”

Answer: More than 1 Party Sync’r in your group.

Disagree? Im terrible but will happily 1v1.

Literally have seen people in BGs in like 298 green gear and having arguments with others in the match that they shouldn’t have to buy anything and they’ll get gear when they get honor.

Meanwhile they’re being two shot and do no damage.

Yeah I don’t understand this, all my toons were fully geared when I hit 70 after my first one. It actually makes for a horrible unfun experience when you don’t get gear beforehand. It’s not fun for you and its not fun for your team. I agree this is blizzards fault for the massive amount of disparity at level 70 with gear but players should grind honor while leveling alts to limit this horrible experience we are all having in BG’s with people at 180k hp that are essentially useless to the team.

Then again, if you play fire mage like I do sometimes you are basically one of those people even with full gear. RIP

Same. Haven’t hit 70 without full gear.

Actually my warlock didn’t. But that’s because I wasn’t paying attention and bought two of the same thing and ran out of honour going through my bags just equipping everything in order without reading.

but yeah. people arent doing bg’s. that’s not their fault. It’s still kinda insane to see a 70ilvl gap straight out the gates. I’m not a huge fan of it but I don’t see another option when blizzard likes scaling PvE to these heights between the ? 4 difficulty tiers.

I mean I do see another option but i’m not paid to develop this stuff and ranting at you guys doesn’t help anything

I mean if u bg for 2 hour to 3 hours at 70 u will have the full honor set regardless.
Even losing i was getting 500 honor. You need 10k for the full set.
