There is not a single (and I am not exaggerating here) not a SINGLE group forming for Blackfathom Deeps on my server (Living Flame - US) that isn’t requiring:

  • FULL 7/7 experience
  • 300+ gearscore (whatever that means)
  • FULL consumes (pots + oil/stone)
  • Checking gear AND logs in Org/SW

If you didn’t hit level 25 on day 3, it’s over for you. You won’t find a group. The game is essentially dead to you and you might as well quit because there isn’t even heroic dungeons to do. Just level an alt and take three days off from work for the next phase and PRAY you can hit level 40 soon enough to raid Gnomeregan.

Just make your own group!

Yeah because if you’re not a tank with prior experience, leading your own group is sooooo going to work out. Get serious!

I actually haven’t seen any guild recruitment messages on Living Flame US in 48hours. Guild recruiting is getting sparse - how many people are making guilds to run easy 10man content that’ll be obsolete in a month anyway?

Each potion or mana oil is 50silver on my server (Living Flame US). I’ve already done most of the quests at 25 to be able to afford buying all my pre-raid BIS off the auction house and I am very poor now and cannot afford dozens of shadow pots for wipes on Kelris.

Op is exaggerating somewhat. There are pugs that run with no requirements all the time but mostly on the last day. Literally no one uses gear score, but everyone does gear check and require consumes.

Chaosrune says: LFM BFD FRESH, ONLY tanks and heals needed!! Be geared and exp’d
Bosuballin says: LF 1 Healer (druid or shaman) and Hunter for FRESH FULL BFD CLEAR @ 6:30pm Server. Please DM me your experience and what your gear looks like.

As you can see most people have already cleared BFD four times since SoD launched and expect EVERYONE to be the same. If you think there are tons of pugs looking to build up new players, you are lying!

Tanks are always the hard to find element. Thankfully it’s only two weeks in, the cap is lv 25 and you can have one ready to go within a fair amount of time.

That being said, I’ve seen plenty of groups who are new to the raid friendly. Just depends on who is rolling around.

You realize that, by saying this, you are essentially admitting that you need prior experience to complete the raid…? Wouldn’t that make the people requiring prior experience 100% correct?

(I don’t think you actually need prior experience, and I think you should just make your own group if you can’t find one)

its not, just find someone whose not special and you’ll still get invited. ive invited people and got them 7/7 that were new to it both this reset and the last one. i ask u have consumes (shadow pot/fap) which are cheap and i could care less to gear/log check anyone. completing that raid is a joke.

Edit: ive actually been turning down people who ask if ive gear checked/log checked, are worried about xyz thing. had a guy last reset where i told him straight that im looking for good players and zero toxicity and thats it. today had a ret link me the epic sword and ask if ive gear checked. completed the raid in 30min without him. gear score doesnt matter.

Interesting because on my server most people don’t care about any of those requirements, and it’s extremely easy to get into a BFD even as a fresh lvl 25.

It’s honestly been great but be warned, my only experience on it is alliance side and you should know we always win the BfA if that matters at all.
