Report it to Blizzard from your affected character (in game). This is an abuse of player report features. Attach screen shots, provide names, taking a screenshot of the scoreboard prior to the match starting could help, but if someone tells/asks you to type “/afk”, screencap that puppy, etc.
Anything that will help expedite the GMs looking into the abuse of features. Enabling timestamps on chatlogs is helpful. This has happened before is NOT ALLOWED. Let Blizzard sort 'em out… Good Luck.
hmm I did die few times on my higher in AV and when I rezed I was outside the BG and had the debuff, I didn’t even think that maybe it was a kick, because i was farming quest objectives seeing I am not 60.
Report it anyway. There’s logs of everything your character does, and the interactions you have, so they’ll easily be able to see who kicked you. People need to report it if we want them to stop it.
you don’t have to be able to see it. Blizz can look back on the chat logs if you have approx date/time. Making an in game ticket is usually best. At the start of the match, you can click your minimap icon w/BG logo & screencap a pic of your team’s names, given that this is such a frequent thing. Presenting that to Blizz will help them at the least.
Apparently one of the “tricks” these jerks (wish I could say something else) are using here, is spamming chat with “everyone type afk to fake out the other team”. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. When friends and I did not, they resorted to whispering. Fortunately I screen capped it & reported. There’s new players that would fall for this & it’s unnecessarily malicious. It could suck to be them.
It means you get paid for your service. I think we both know you arent getting paid and thus cant offer “pro” anything.
The last ticket i submitted had a 3 day turn around time…
While you can spend the 15 minute debuff you wrongly received in any manner you choose, its going to take you longer than 15 minutes to gather all of your data, host your screenshots, ect than it will to do something productive with your time.
When tickets are taking 3 days to turn around for things they can easily address, how much time do you realistically think is being spent on an issue thats a pita for them to figure out who is in the wrong?
They dont have the staff to address countless “i was wronged” petitions when the penalty isnt game stopping, like being stuck or unable to log in. Its a 15 minute debuff that allows you to play any other part of the game in the meantime.
Was it addressed in the past? sure. Did they have 3x the support staff back then? yes they did.
I’m not even trying to with someone like you in case you haven’t noticed. I’m trying to help other people. You come in here blasting a haughty attitude and expect me to “debate” with you, you got the wrong person. I have a feeling your interest doesn’t lie in “understanding”. I’m simply giving a suggestion to others with good intentions. Deal with it, or if you can’t, find another thread to flame, please.
This is actually really good information and useful in the effort to at least dissuade, if not eliminate these people. It’s a shame that they don’t appear to have anyone but their own best interests at heart.
