They have to make loot scarce enough that players who aren’t interested in alts will have something to do for three months
It’s too scarce imo. I’ve missed maybe 3 lockouts. Never seen my tier chest or boots drop once. Got my harpoon 5 lockouts ago finally and it isn’t even that rare. Lost the Xbow on the one time it dropped early on. Thing about it is I’ve seen caster gear drop 4x more often. I’ve seen 4 epic staves drop. Just the RNG is too RNG. Might aswell buy lottery tickets with my sub money. I’m not saying give me give me, I’m not saying it needs to be a 50% increase to drop rates. Just…what’s the point in the current system? All this cool gear that we just aren’t seeing. I’m not saying seeing and losing, but not seeing at all. Eventually people like me realize going around the merry go round isn’t worth the potentials.
Exactly.
And they will realize this 5x faster now that the dev-made problem, solved by the community, was “banned”
You aren’t entitled to gear or gold for stepping foot into a raid.
Stop being entitled.
i also never saw a talwar the whole phase on my rogue. SADGE but thats just the way she goes.
i think a better solution for 10 mans at least is the bosses not having such massive loot tables, kelris drops like 20 items
20 items is no problem when 3 items drop per boss…
How you gonna start a post with a clown then post something so clownish yourself?
i just think more than 2 a boss in a 10 is excessive, in 40s sure, up it to 3-4.
2 is fine for 10, just lower the amount of loot on each bosses table.
Think you’re mistaking entitlement for concern. I’m fine with earning my gear, just give me the opportunity. Right now it might aswell be a gamble at best, do you wanna mindlessly keep going through the raid rolling dice you might get lucky this time? I don’t. This isn’t about rolling and losing, it’s about never seeing it drop in the first place.
these forum dwellers don’t know the difference between those two words in the english language LOL
Talking about yourself I see
nah you feel entitled for payment for your time spent in a raid, thus meaning you didn’t find the time enjoyable enough to do without getting paid. so you clearly don’t like actually playing the game and would be better off on a server where you logged in with full bis, so you can go ahead and quit and get on with your sad, gambling addicted life
So you’re saying after 2 months of lockouts you’re still happy to run the same content over and over expecting a different result? The madness. After 2 months of dedicating time to a raid every 3 days I do expect to be closer to bis than not, and that’s pretty reasonable. Not entitled, but simply reasonable.
Not to mention that there is no other alternative to gaining this level of gear. I’d be happy to do a long chain of quests to obtain on par gear if there was some but right now we’re kinda forced to gamble it hoping for a chance drop that isn’t overtaken by another piece of gear on the same boss.
(Also you missed the part where I have never GDKP’d. Even regular players are looking at this current system like a waste of time now)
It should be.
sounds like not fun to me. maybe if they added an extra loot drop it would be better.
Why would I do a raid if I’m in full gear? The whole point of gdkps is to keep people logging on after prog and gearing is done. Same reason for parse culture. I love prog I find farm incredibly boring so do most players who are actually good.
What do you think earning your gear looks like?
The way you earn your gear is showing up every raid until it drops and you win the roll.
This is earning your gear.
that’s how you like to earn gear. but you also have no other goals in wow, except “having fun killing time”
Some people have an ounce of compeitiive spirit in their lives. they enjoy proving they are better than others.
I’m sure you don’t compete with anyone in any aspect of your life
Then maybe this isn’t the game for you.
It’s a casual MMO for normal people. It’s not a competitive PVP game.
