If WoW had a final expansion, what would you like it to be?

For me if WoW ever came down to a final expansion, I would love it to be a crazy time traveling one where it sends us back to the time before the great sundering with full access to the super continent. Alliance and Horde will begin at either end and make our way to the center where the Maelstrom now sits back when it was the Well of Eternity.

Do a crossover with Diablo. Let all hell break loose.

We become a member of the pantheon to finally kill Sargeras.

Lol 9.0 could very well be the final expansion. At least as we know them

I would call it The Great Refund!

A giant roulette table so we can just get to the point.

lowkey kinda hoping for a final stand against the void, only for us to die and see nothing but dark water sweeping over our screens before the game ends forever

Well, if they KNEW it was going to be the last expansion, which would also mean the game was “over.”:

  • Horde and Alliance grouping/communication (except for if in Warmode.)
So no more grays, out when doing mobs in the same area.

  • All mounts/pets etc certain 100 percent drops, such as Love Rocket (or just buy for not very much in game gold.) I was going to say in the cash shop, but that would make no sense since if it was the last expansion the game would be over; So no one would be buying stuff from the cash shop.

You might say, “Well, just because no more expansions doesn’t mean the game is over!” Sure it would. I loved Legion, but I would not have just kept playing it forever (especially not for 15 bucks a month.) I would have went on to FFXIV/ESO more.

I got an even better one. A crossover with Fortnite. That’ll even raise more hell than a Diablo crossover

We go back in time and the Cataclysm expac didn’t happen and we take down Deathwing before he realizes what is happening. All the zones go back to the way they were and we continue from there.

The Old God’s win and Azeroth is descending into chaos with its impending destruction. The only way to win is to turn back time and change events. We must gather McGuffins and acquire the power needed to turn back time before Arthas was unseated from his Frozen Throne, before Illidan fled to outland, before the Fall of Naxxramas, back to the beginning, back to… Vanilla

But this time things will play out differently in World of Warcraft 2: Electric Boogaloo the Revengance Part Deus.

Whatever the final expansion will be, I just pray that I won’t be playing it on my phone.

I’m kind of hoping Bolvar is cooking something up in the north.

An Infinite Dragonflight expansion. We have to defeat all versions Murozund in land fractured in time by the meddling of the Infinite. We could go back to Azeroth before the First War and also in the far flung future.

Whatever story they need to lead us into WarCraft 4.

Should just end it how Destiny 1 did. Bring back all of the old raid and dungeon content, remastered, with new loot to collect. Add a new little story that isn’t as epic but still cool so people let it fade into the past. Then release a less superior less fun WoW 2, stunt everyone’s XP to get them to spend money in microtransactions, and then apologize for it later. EZPZ.

If it’s the final expansion, I’m guessing it will be horrible. Otherwise, there would probably be another expansion.

WAKI
War Against the Klaxxi Invasion
Turns out that Pandaren are skinny, but full of Klaxxi larvae
and they’ve spread colonies across the expansions. Also,
Pandaren explode to release the Klaxxi larvae, much to the
amusement of all.

They should have just made a world of StarCraft
