Or perhaps a wasp race, but cuteness sells and I adore bumbles. Honestly I don’t know what species of bee this would be anyway. Point though is. Lets assume this race became playable for alliance in 8.3 and it was some kind of bee race that we encountered in stormsong valley. Would you like or hate it?

Even though nobody has asked for something before, doesn’t necessarily mean its a bad idea either. After all, there was very few to no people asking for a fox race prior to bfa.
I also think a mouse race would be great using the gnome rig.

I’m not saying because I think they’d be bad ideas, just that they’d probably be weird based on the way you said that.
They actually get eaten by the females after they mate.
They need to be fuzzier for bumbles, those are more like honey bee people…
Nothing wrong with honey bee people but the bumble people are cute and fluffy.
Pretty much every bee is female… the males have wings and fly out only when the Queens take flight to find their hives. They mate in the air and that is enough baby ingredients for the rest of the Queen’s life and the males drop dead.

For the record i actually did say quite a long time ago that the Stormsong Bee stuff was wasted potential on Blizzards part, was the perfect time to seed a future Insectoid type race on a playable or semi playable rig for the future since the others aren’t exactly very playable.
So technically i did ask 
Yes and think about it for a second. A lot of the plot surrounded bees and honey gaining sentience. So much wasted potential really

From the title, I was imagining something like the cloud serpent races using our new bee mounts.
I was actually thinking about it. Its not off the table, but I do have a whole bunch of ideas for new projects so I have to be picky. If I did though, using the mantid base model could help save me a lot of potential work and the wings are fairly easy. Currently I am working on a Big Daddy styled mechagnome(Like the ones from bioshock).
