I assumed he meant fresh start servers for Classic WoW (Maybe TBC? Not sure). Not terribly uncommon in the private server scene but hasn’t been talked about for Classic yet beyond them saying ‘No’ to launching with Fresh Start options for TBC for some reason.

So, you saying the might want to experience the patch releases again for Classic WoW? Outside of delayed content releases there isn’t really any benefit to it.
Some form of seasonal Classic with much (much) faster leveling, and changing affixes, could be interesting. But I doubt they would ever do that, the purists would lose their minds.
Given enough “flavor” seasonal stuff could actually interest me.
I agree they must be losing their minds already with TBCC.

When I was a kid in school they had these monthly book order things from scholastic that you would bring home and bother your parents with until they bought you something, since it was obviously educational coming from school. Great marketing strategy…
…but anyways, there was a New Kids on the Block book one month and EVERY girl in the school bought it… I mean EVERY SINGLE GIRL got at least 1 copy, some got more. There were copies everywhere!
IMO they win at boy-bands forever because there were more copies of their crappy book in that school than slap-stick bracelets and fanny packs combined.

This actually is the play pattern on pservers. People join at the beginning, play through to the end, and then start on a new server. My impression from talking to people playing classic is that this is where most of them came from.
I could see rolling Classic servers potentially being a thing. With an option to xfer your character at the end of the season before the reset.
Pretty much the only way to keep that era alive.

It is probably cheaper for Blizzard to NOT create “fresh servers”, and just let the players that demand them unsub…

I’m not gonna bother with tbc but yeah, they really should release some fresh servers. Especially for classic where realms died overnight.

… Or that one south park episode where there is a clip of Kyle, Cartman, Cylde and Butters wait with the other viral video hit guys like the chocolate rain guy and numa numa guy? … and also getting annoyed that it’s always has those random butt clips from the actual viral videos themselves peppered in?..
Spitballing here, was that actually part of that episode that the south park guys put in or was it somebody, uploading that clip who’ve done that? i’ve yet to get an answer on that and i don’t watch much of South Park. 
If a team of 10 people even less could re-release classic servers with MC being the top content, why can’t Blizzard.
This game should be more like diablo.
