im not even going to play tbc era, i want wotlk era. so if they dont give us tbc, that means we arnt getting a wotlk one either. it will make it a clear and ez decision.
but where will you go?
you’ll come crawling back in a month.
This right here will be the straw that breaks the camels back and Blizz will finally cave in!
Feel for and agree with the OP.
The strongest thing the Real Classic Playerbase has, is their vote with their dollar spent.

classic is free.
there’s no wallet. you pay for Retail.
I’m going to assume you’re saying this in a non-threatening way, the same way I say it.
When TBC finishes, there’s nothing left in WoW for me. Classic+ will be garbage, we already know that based on SOD.
I don’t like Wrath personally. I loved it the first time around but I was not a very discerning person back then. I tried it this time and had a complete realization that Wrath is the actual start of retail, not Cata like I thought before.
Basically I’ll play TBC until it ends or I get sick of it, then I’m out, and I’m actually kind of excited to no longer play Blizzard products. They lost me on Diablo way back in the early seasons of D3. I tried D4 and it was trash inside of a single season. Starcraft is dead. Never was into Overwatch. That’s pretty much it, there’s nothing left.
There are plenty of non-activision games worth playing for fun. I suggest that it’s healthy to take a step back from the battle.net launcher sometimes. Open steam, browse your library and then your wishlist… There’s a lot out there.
Lately when wow burns me out, I’ll just pay Rust or Enshrouded for awhile until I get an itch to do something in wow again.
They’re not MMOs, but very fun still if you like building-RPGs.
There’s zero reason that we have to be subscribed to a blizzard product if they aren’t delivering an enjoyable experience.
TBH, customizable player housing in retail’s next expansion is the only thing that remotely interests me outside of Classic-Era. Otherwise I’m anticipating turtle’s vanilla version on unreal 5 engine… Which they’ve said is still scheduled to release, despite impending litigation.
The context of my reply was Blizzard games.
I have a universe of things to do outside of Blizzard’s library of games.
Getting out of the Blizzard sphere of games will be nice. There’s a certain level of addiction that keeps people there, and recognizing when there’s nothing left to be addicted to is nice.
For example, the feeling I had when Cataclysm came out was just elation. There was absolutely nothing about Cata that would be addictive to me, since almost every aspect of the game was just repulsive. That all changed when Nost released in 2015, I was once again screwed by my own addictive personality.
You can still say in the “reasons for quitting box” why you quit. And I’m ready to bet all my ingame G that Blizz perfectly well knows what version we play.
I am playing nothing but WoW - have not been since 2006 - and I cancelled my sub over the MoP mess - and the no Era for TBC. I’m just going to have to learn to live without playing anything, as WoW Classic was what I wanted to play.
k cya bye.
Quite the threat. I double dog dare you to quite right now. No…
Triple dog dare you.
You now need to either quit or change your whole identity.
private servers…? lol
I cut bait and cancelled a few months ago and have no plans to ever come back. Classic 2019 was fun, but ever since then it’s become something I’m not longer interested in and I’m not gonna pay a penny to Blizzard any longer until they figure it out. It’s Blizzard, it’s the players ruining the experience, and it’s me no longer wanting to participate in their version of a game I don’t find fun anymore /Shrug.
I do hope they figure out how to capture the magic again at some point. If they do, i’ll get back in line, but I doubt that will happen after seeing what they’ve done to WoW, Diablo, and Overwatch. God help us if they touch Starcraft.
dont need to make a threat. they dont care. but yeah, please give us tbc era. thanks
did you just laugh at your own joke?
Peace out, yo.
Oh no… How will they ever recover from such a disaster???
so go now? youre looking at 3 years before wrath server if we even do get tbc lol.
youre gonna wait 3 years for the server or youll go to private… just go private either way lmao
if you’re my joke, than yes.
The sentiment I share in with the OP stems from the lack of preservation of what we had started in 2019 that has been hijacked by the Classic-Progression client.
The consequences of that are slowly going to manifest themselves as this Anniversary client progresses…
I too don’t intend to start all over anymore if none of this Anniversary, beyond Vanilla, converts to era.
