Kinda always wished they just did away with servers completely, and instead let you choose worlds and have designated worlds that makes organizing events more easier. Basically a copy of what Runescape does. Probably would be an insane amount of effort, but I can wish 
Raid loggers who need it all did fix it somewhat. They just logged into the 1% faction alts they stopped using long ago lol.
Still imbalanced…but now they run smaller faction chars for giggles and mogs.
No, the SoD realms are balanced now with the new population rules

I agree. The 3rd biggest server ever Emerald dream RP realm died when War mode came out and all the phasing that came along with it. I refuse to ever play retail again due to this. SOD and classic are a better game too.

I juat don’t see the problem with options. Anyone who uses war mode regularly sees the issues. Just give us a pvp server or whatever type of server like we already have in classic.
What if they just crz more war mode?
It doesn’t really fix the community. I want to plate with pvp players who want to engage in world pvp. There are just too many people in war mode who complain about pvp when they don’t actually want to do it

Look Into Ascension wow, they have some amazing wpvp with even better wpvp with the option of risk pvp. 10/10. Blizzard failed you so let go of that need and go seek it else where.
Im not really big in to those types of servers if you know what I mean. Aren’t they technically not even supposed to be running?
Basically.
The classless setup is nice to make pvp have surprises.
Is it a hunter? Is it a rogue? Is it both?
Only one way to find out really. Engage them.
Does it have fotm meta? Sure. Even other pvp games like even have that. Some do break out of the cookie cutter mold.
That to me makes for the more fun fights. Scissors finds a way to break rock for a switch lol.

How about properly incentivize players that dont want to pvp to go into warmode. Like 50% exp boost or something along those lines.
Why is war mode not real pvp?
PvP servers were a thing but were abandoned due to (usually extreme) Faction imbalance causing players to no longer play them.
Since there’s no way Blizzard can really ensure Faction balance (unless they introduce Faction quotas, and I doubt that would fly) then they’re not going to reintroduce them.

I kinda wish they would take you all up on this request, so that we could see where the goalposts get moved once you realize the PvP server is just as dead as War Mode is.

IMO, the state of pvp and balance would make a genuine pvp server a living hell. War mode was a lazy way to address that pvp in general is an unbalanced mess. Especially when it is wpvp. That’s just the thing you do when you want to blow people up or get blown up. It’s not like the old days.
Server balance is already in place in SoD where I’m spending most of my time. It’s an easy solution
