If we’re not getting playable Haranir, can we at least get their waists?

In a shocking turn of events, The War Within is turning out to be The War Within Except for the Random Trip to Space at the End.

TWWERTSE is a terrible acronym by the way.

It’s clear we won’t be going to the Rootlands and by association won’t be getting playable Haranir this expansion. Or possibly any expansion given Blizzard’s tendency to make whole new races rather than use any of their existing ones more than once.

This is disappointing on many levels, but the most disappointing is having a male Night Elf model with an actual waist ripped from our clutches at the last minute.

I mean look at this guy.

That build says strong, powerful warrior.

Meanwhile male Night Elves and Nightborn look like they have no organs in their stomach area at all.

Forget muscle, it’s just all spine until the ribs start.

If you’re going to brutally crush my dreams of a glorious porcupine elf warrior, could you at the very least give is their waists so I can roll a male Night Elf I can take seriously.

I wasn’t expecting we would be going to Karesh so soon, seems rushed in my opinion and kind of out of the blue (I know there have been Ethereals about and all but I was expecting it to happen in Midnight) I really loved the Haranir race and it really reminded me of a mix of troll, nelf and worgen and those are my fav races ever in this game. Just hope they come in the future, or at least give us Ethereals as a playable race instead.

And oh yeah please, give me the body type of the female and male haranir on nelf and night borne AT LEAST.

Orweyna and Harronir (Idk how you spell it I’ve seen it spelled differently across quest text) could have just been replaced with the Cenarion Circle and nothing would have changed.

I want to believe we’ll see the Rootlands in the Last Titan. We were told we’d return to Northrend in the Last Titan but I just don’t see them remaking the entirety of Northrend. Unlocking deeper paths into the Coreway would make sense for the Last Titan as a couple in-game years will have passed since the War Within and the Earthen’s excavating process.

Blizz has said that they want to stop introducing new continents every expansion and reuse more parts of the old world. We’re definitely seeing that with the War Within, and even more so in Midnight.

I think playable Ethereals would be more popular, and that’s what I’m hoping for.

I do like Harronir and think they’re cool, as a ‘missing link’ race between trolls and elves.

But, Ethereals I just want more.

If there was any chance of getting playable Ethereals this decade then the new Ethereal models in Undermine would have been player models, not NPC models.

We’re not getting Ethereals at the expense of Haranir, we’re not getting either.

You don’t know that lol, look at Nightborne.

The playable models are nothing like the NPCs, and the same is true of the older Earthen model.

Yeah going to Karesh was not on my bingo card at all. So much for it was destroyed/eaten by a void lord eh.

There was so many options for TWW final patch location and Karesh would have made way more sense as the 12.1 or .2 patch.

I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far of 11.2, but I will admit I’m a bit sad we won’t be getting a Rootlands patch (well, yet, anyway). And I agree that the body types for the Haranir are awesome, and I would love to see body types like that available for us in the future.

Again tho, I am quite happy with 11.2’s direction, even if I was excited to get a Rootlands patch.

we dont need a 5th elf race. the haranir are even uglier than you op

rootlands and haronir arent happening in any form. how about that boring faerin lothar quest though.

It might be cope but in one of their interviews today they said that there will be a whole saga to finish the Haranir story. Maybe in one of the future expacs we could get them as playable.

You are a raccoon with delusions of grandeur, your opinion on anyone’s appearance will never be valid.

Maybe, but I have zero faith in Blizzard’s ability to finish a coherent storyline at this point.
