If ur not raiding in a guild, SL ain't for you

  1. Make your own group.
  2. You’re a druid, be a tank or a healers. You’ll easily get groups.

Enjoy!

It’s not a Blizzard problem its a player problem. Also players should NOT and I repeat should NOT be rewarded with Mythic or Heroic ilvl gear outside of that content. You have the gear and ilvl for the content that you do. You can very easily find M0 groups, run them and get your ilvl to 180+ and run keys since most people are running 2-6 keys anyways.

‘They take the first decent DPS that pops up’

Out of what, like 30 people applying?

The key word there being “used to,” youre making yourself look dumb XD and yeah were going to skip mobs and get the exact % we need because the route is pre-planned, not yelling at anyone with a low parse as long as they know mechanics and are geared within reason

Care to tell me what has changed in Raider IO since BFA and now?

Or are you just trying to create new arguements in a futile attempt to undermine my premise?

I ran mythic 0 last week and did a +2 key. I pugged it all. Most people are not group people and I accept that. I am doing more Mythic 0 this week. To try and finish gearing up. But the dismal loot drops from dailies that no longer scale is a huge disappointment.

And to be honest I do not use Raider IO I take who ever joins the group.

LFR drops today or next week–we’ll be fine.

Nothing. I said that “you dont use io so i dont have to worry about you.” And then you said “I used to,” but you dont now soooo… im correct, I dont have to worry about avoiding you XD and what even was your premise? That you dont like io? Or that your brain is smaller than average?

Im almost 190, been puging as a dps

Honestly, I’m with you.

Maybe I’m burnt out of WoW?
Or maybe real life has gotten to where I can’t devote the requisite time?

Nevertheless, I just can’t get myself to do the requisite full clear of at least normal Castle, a full clear of dungeons, a full clear of two torghast wings, and etc. during a week. This is practically more required than the past two expansions as a result of the significantly reduced gear drop-rate.

There doesn’t seem to be enough time.

Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s time for me to go…

Well, I hate to break it to you. But it’s going to require some “social skills” to get somewhere. Guilds in my opinion are the fastest way to progress through raiding and mythic+ (at least in my opinion).

Being alone is a choice for you, but you won’t make progress faster than the people in the “cool kid’s” group.

Pugs will always find the highest ilvl and raider .io score. And if you’re 1-2 weeks behind. Well too bad.

Remember when I told you to take a course in comprehension? It helps to know what you’re arguing against before you pick a debate.

Regardless, im done with this pointless conversation.

But go on, have the last word before you leave.

Oh look, I found a no-life elitist who calls working people lazy because they are not caught up to him in the game. Go tell your mom to make you another sandwich.

Money is the only thing that talks to the devs. I’d imagine that none of our guild commitments really factor in their profit equations. And, having seen prior discussions on the matter, it would seem this is a casual oriented game.

Why would Blizz shoot itself in the foot? My guild is doing raiding and mythics, but I asked them if my low participation was a factor and they said no.

Clearly there are other things besides ilvl keeping us here.

I plugged my way into 10/10 normal and 3/10 heroic first week. Maybe you’re just bad? Why is that so hard for some people to accept?

If someone that started the expansion right at launch is still a 170 ilvl then they either don’t care about ilvl and play for the story or yes, they are lazy. I just level capped last week and I’m sitting at a 175 ilvl.

I was running mythic 0s as enhancement shaman at 160. The key is making your own group. Ended up asking if anyone wanted to stay after I did one, then we ended up easily doing 4 more together.

This is untrue.

My guild (which I love btw) is 4/10N – 0/10H – and we have two people over 700 io. The rest are like 200.

I pugged (completely by myself) 10/10N - 3/10H - to 750 io – 4 +10’s completed (3 timed).

It’s not about having a guild group – it’s about committing to getting it done. The issue is that in the pugs, there is normally no loyalty – if you’re underperforming (unlike a guild group), you will be replaced. You can still do the content, you just can’t get carried through it.

I disagree with the OP, I find the beginning of this expansion has gone well for casual players like me, for instance you only need to do the weekly to continue to progress your main covenant, you might log onto your main to do the dailies with your covenant but in your other free time you can level alts to get them ready for another covenant, so there’s heaps to do and see right now for a casual player.

I wouldn’t be too proud of thinking heroic and normal progression as a big accomplishment. Lol.
