Tbh, I’d be playing a Wildhammer dwarf if I could but good ol’ Bronzebeard dwarves are close enough with their customization options. They have the best beards, body paint, voices and imo, totems.
Not a fan of the oversized dark iron totems and comparatively limited customization options and to me Earthen are just meh in all regards.
That being said, I do have a dark iron rogue alt collecting dust somewhere.

So many of my friends have said they want to go alliance, and the only way I could see myself race swapping is by going mechagnome.
Honestly, i fear for the day if it became a possibility. I would be beside myself in pulling the trigger

I’m keeping a shaman at level cap just for when/if this happens.
Idk, but to me it makes complete sense for any nature-aligning race to have Shaman available, because the Earthen Ring has been around for so long…
But also, for night elves in specific, they do have some deserted primalists in their ranks now, which makes the perfect sense for Shamans.

I’d play Dracthyr if that were an option.
Gryphons sound more like Wildhammer Dwarf shamans.
Humans would probably have lion totems, because Stormwind/lions? 
I dunno
