If Turalyon becomes king, I want the option to leave the Alliance

he doesnt sound cautious to me at all, he sounds paranoid. if we were allowed to pick whatever race we wanted for our visage i might agree, but we’re rather obvious looking. and its not like dracthyr are the only race that can change forms either

I don’t know how much choice Turalyon had with that. From what I understand Xe’ra wanted to kill Alleria and Turalyon talked her down then Xe’ra went fine then I’ll imprison her until she renounces the void. Add in that everyone was stuck on a spaceship in a running battle with the legion.

… geebus. I forgot I made this thread. LOL

I don’t know why people are so caught up in that, Onyxia almost destroyed Stormwind from within and Deathwing almost destroyed from without and suddenly Wrathion appears with a bunch of Deathwing’s creations.

This is one of the first grey areas Blizzard did in quite a while, it’s good to see characters being pragmatic for a change, I was getting really tired of the whole “we good they bad” storylines.

And despite Wrathion’s bluster he’s not exactly trusted or liked either. You know that whole rescuing Garrosh, creating an alternate timeline and setting up events to let the Legion invade and kinda indirectly responsible for killing Stormwind’s last king thing.

IMO betrayals were a regular thing when I played Everquest II, it was an involved questline that was actually quite fun. You started off with a breadcrumb quest where you’d get a confirmation quest you had to type in before you actually began the process. During the betrayal you were friendly to neither faction and there was three ways (If i remember right) to complete it. Least risky lowest reward was doing repeatables out in the world that hindered your former faction. Mid risk was killing some elite which was level scaled, then there was the high risk which involved entering your former faction city, reaching an instanced zone, killing an elite guarded by lots of lessers then getting back the the NPC you got the quest from.

Rinse and repeat until your faction relation went from hated to friendly you could begin a short finisher quest that finalized your new faction loyalties. The only thing I’m not sure about is the type of player that wow attracts would likely grief these areas heavily so that would be my only “eh idk”.

True, Dracthyr are rather obvious looking but what about actual dragons? What are the limits of a Visage? Once chosen are they stuck with it or can they alter it whenever?

Don’t forget Malygos’s whole war on mages, or Nozdormu’s eventual fall into Murozond.

From the Chromie story, it sounds like once chosen, that’s who they are.

But the Horde deserves it, they deserve to lose everything.

We are literally following a kid that inherited the title from his father. And the inexperienced kid is a bad ruler for his people and somehow we, older races, must obey the whelp.

We must overthrow the Monarchy, behead all the Kings and setup a ruling council.

That would be epic!

Do you think the Horde would accept Anduin if he does not return to the Alliance after his walk of self-reflection? I mean, we have Baine talking about him to Mayla as if he is a close friend, and IIRC he’s part of the ruling council of the Horde.

She immediately came to mind.

Turalyon and Yrel becoming the next ‘big bads’ would be such an interesting curve ball that I just know Blizzard would screw it up.

But hey, at least it would be different.

You have the option, its called a paid faction change.

Except that gets every level-headed Human, NE, Gnome, Dwarf, and Worgen ripping apart the ‘esteemed leadership’ of the Alliance and look at that, we’re back to square zero.

Garrosh and Garrosh-but-dead weren’t fun. Garrosh-but-blue isn’t going to be interesting THIS time either.

But you rolled a Night Elf. Tyrande is the biggest zealot in the Alliance.

“You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power, just cus some watery tart threw her sword at you!”

LMAO!

Then do Cata 2.0 and provide that revamp. It’s been done once, it can be done again. It NEEDS to happen at this point.

How is he a zealot?

I feel you don’t know much about Turalyon to be asking that question.
