If we are supposed to be high speed in and out assassins, then why do we have less mobility than every other class? PVP is basically unplayable if I dont have sprint up because every other spec has 3 different mobility skills to get away.
I guess I am just frustrated as sub is so… completely lackluster in BGs with no mobility, no damage, and no real utility to offer
This is why they gave us a buff to sprint speed in DF.
We were falling behind other classes in terms of zoom zoom.
Here’s an idea for Blizzard:
- Grant Shadowstep baseline to all rogues.
- Remove the cooldown of Shadowstep.
- Have Shadowstep cost precisely 1 combo point.
- Update the Shadowstep talent in the class tree to instead remove the Combo Point cost of Shadowstep once every 30 seconds.
That should fix rogue mobility issues while still offering some skill capped gameplay opportunities.
You know you have shadow step x2 if im right. Plus 2 vanish or 3 depend on how you spec. You got all kinds of tools to up against anything.
BlizZard nerfed the PVP talent for sprint which is why Rogue mobility went into the toilet.
That is why they had to do a reactive buff to sprint speed to compensate. But the nerf to the sprint PVP talent maneuverability is what caused this issue.
In arena you can get away from need a talent like the old maneuverability. But in world PVP and BGs the loss of maneuverability is basically like playing in constant mud.
I personally feel like grappling hook should be a class wide talent instead of shadowstep. It’s such a versatile and fun ability not only for staying on target but also peeling out of a fight when there is no target to step to.
If I had to choose between grappling hook or shadowstep to baseline along side sprint I would 100% choose grappling hook. Talking about game wide usage too not just PvP.
Dont forget that we’re also more gated by resources than basically everyone else, and we’re so squishy you’d think we were some sort of glass canon, but we’re just the glass
But hey, at least our hero talents also suck.
