Then it should steady fly when the flight toggle is set to skyriding.
It wasn’t done in error. They specifically made it this to be in line with their “one or the other” design. So if they were going to concede and make the ottuk steady flight while everything else is dynamic, then they may as well go the whole hog and scrap their plan entirely. Just let us choose the style for mounts individually.
And yes, they should do that.
Someone needs to spend the time to make it dynamic flying. Because I didn’t spend all that time getting a huge achievement mount for it to be made useless to me.
People put in a ton of work to get this mount to have a flying/swimming mount in one. It’s
a real shame to treat such an epic achievement reward in this manner.
Welp that’s a mount that’s going into the “I will not use it” pile now.
It’s still my go to aquatic mount. It still does two things.
I love my spectral otter. Please make this happen, Blizzard.
When they first announced the swap, that was how it worked and there are still pictures of the tooltip of it reading like taht. Then, at some point, they added an additional part of “Mounts unable to skyride will be grounded when skyriding is active.”
Yet again Blizzard gets close to making the right decision but fails again. Just like when they made it so you can get transmogs on alts, except for tier items, that needs to be on the specific class. Why do you always get so close to doing the right thing but yet never quite get there. WoW, even in TWW, there still seems to be annoying things that always come up. Only annoying people would want to add or make rules that the average person would see as dumb. What you should do is fire the annoying people that work for you. My guess is you will find a lot more retention out of your customers.
