If nothing else, Gazlowe would look at the projected profits and losses of going to war with the Alliance and decide it isn’t worth it, preventing the next faction war.

Except he’s been in this nebulous in-between state since the end of Cataclysm and it only got worse at the end of Warlords.
So from like 2010 to right now (and counting). We’ve had listless unemployable Thrall for way longer than we ever had heroic warchief Thrall.

The Horde does not need a Warchief right now because they are not fighting any wars independent of the Alliance. They are currently run by a council.
Warchief is sort of like five star generals and admirals in the US military. They are only needed during major wars.

He had a thing with murdering Goblins and enslaving them. He went a little too far into the gangster thing. Should have just stuck with greed.
There must be a warchief…if only for the orc.
There must be an orc leader who calls the shots.
This has never been a requirement for having a Warchief.

This is again not true. Thrall still lead the faction when there wasn’t all out war.
