If the belfs wanted back in alliance, could they be forgiven?

Lol where is Quel’thalas powerful? Like half the country is still occupied by the scourge.

Well, aside from being in possession of a font of infinite arcane magic and also Light, as I stated before, Lor’themar holds extensive influence in the new Horde Council. We see through the short story covering his and Thalyssra’s romance that he’s practically running the whole thing, and it can’t function without him. In other words, Lor’themar is the defacto leader of the Horde, meaning the entire Horde’s resources are at his disposal. Factor into this that Suramar and Quel’Thalas have one of the strongest diplomatic relationships within the Horde, and that Suramar itself is no slouch in terms of resources, and yeah… Quel’Thalas is in a position of power.

Actually, they DID… that was the whole gift that Illidan gave to Kael’thas, a means for his people to avoid the Withering.

Illidan taught Kael’thas and his followers the techniques for draining mana from magical creatures. While the Sunfury certainly seemed to have used this to tap into demons, back in Quel’Thalas the more common targets were mana wyrms or magic crystals.

So, you’re both right, it’s just a matter of which specific groups of Blood Elves people are talking about. The Sunfury in Outland? Certainly seemed like they were draining fel from Demons. The Blood Elves on Azeroth? They seemed more concentrated on readily-accessible sources for magic, and Quel’Thalas wasn’t replete with demons.

If you remember the BC cinematic they weren’t just draining those mana wyrms, they disintegrated them.

Yeah, but that doesn’t exactly disprove the point? Your Quel’Thalas Blood Elves weren’t draining fel, they were draining mana.

Blood Elves have been alliance since the sunwell was restored
they are just flagged as Horde still for some reason. Half the time they do more stuff with Draenei than with Horde.
