Just came back from the latest Doctor Strange and that movie gave me a big Mage vs Warlock vibe so I was wondering what WoW classes would fit each avengers ?
Doctor Strange : Mage
Captain American : Paladin
Scarlet Witch : Warlock
Thor : Shaman
Hulk : Warrior ?
Hawk Eye : Hunter
Widow : Rogue
Iron Man : Tinker
Groot : Druid

Warlock also have some sort of mind control, and Scarlet literally summons demons.
Captain America would be a warrior also imo.
He’s not empowered by a higher being, just had his DNA mutated like Wolverine’s. Plus he was a soldier in the US MIlitary, which is kind of the definition of a Warrior in most peoples books.
When did “Tinker” become a WoW class?
It is, just not a playable one.
When i think about what i would want a human male warlock to look like, it’s Loki from the first Avengers. Such a shame that all male humans have to look like Thor.

Wolverine was already a mutant before they experimented on him.
The experiments enhanced his mutant powers.
Cap was a normal human that was enhanced by a scientific experiment. It’s similar to what happened to Spiderman, even though that was accidental.
Technically it’s a Warcraft class, but not a WoW class.

There is no tinker class. Thank the Heavens.

Long time Scarlet Witch fan and I’d even say that comics version that doesn’t have the psychic abilities is closer to Warlock. She casts chaos bolts.
I feel like you put this only because of Avenger’s Shield (Paladins toss their shield like Cap. America does at times)
