Dunno 2 years ago we were deluding ourselves about a second.
It’s almost as if there isnt really a pattern other than Blizzard doing what Blizzard wants within a year +/- a few months.
Maybe when Undead Night Elves become a thing, the next argument will be that only NEs get 3.5 models but BEs are spwecial.
I’m asking you politely …would it be possible for you to stop with that condescending attack on Blood Elves…please?

high/blood elves are more a part of the horde than they ever were of the alliance. joy likes to go on and on and on about the supposed special relationship between the alliance and quel’thalas, especially during wc2
they continually ignore that the high elves didnt want to get involved with the alliance and only got involved because the humans invoked an ancient blood oath. then sent the bare minimum of forces they could get away with. and only committed to the alliance when their own lands were attacked and then bailed on the alliance as soon as they were able leaving behind(literally) a couple portal keepers
it was an alliance of convenience. there was no special bond between the high/blood elves and the alliance. except perhaps between quel’thalas and dalaran. claiming they are an iconic race of the alliance is fanfiction

Yes I know and I know their way of posting well. I find it amusing how anytime something is mentioned even remotely related to Helves or Belves they show up to say ‘Helves are an iconic Alliance Race’.

Except that is where your actually incorrect. Some people don’t like the argument of “Blood Elves are High Elves” based on the opinion that most think when they renamed themselves to Blood Elves, they also think that they changed there race. But the actual fact is, they didn’t. They only changed there name to honor there fallen after the scourge invasion. They didn’t change there race, nor did they change who they are.

Nobody cares, least of all Blizzard.
Allied races are just factions. Only Vulpera are a new race.
Blizzard can conjure up anything to suit their needs for differentiation whether it’s magical or physical.
Races dont matter.
If the faction playerbase merge is true then we may see Blood Elves on Alliance. At that point even factions dont matter
