If the Alliance can't get High Elves, Then Give the Option to the Horde

ikr?

can you honestly foresee a circumstance in the future where a thalassian elf model is added, with fanfare, for a third time to the game?

for a second time to the alliance?

Well tell you what Alliance can have their Bloody High Elves, I want High Elf Undead!

I can see it because certain groups cough devs cough seem to have a special love for the elves. From a story perspective I already find the existence of the void elves highly disagreeable. Right along side the Nightborne. What we find mysteriously hidden somewhere next? Sky Elves? Or Earth Elves?

Don’t get me wrong. I like Elves but it seems like any time we need a new group we just dust off elves. Meanwhile there exist a whole range of species/races to explore.

but you are an undead high elf

Very true, I want Red-eyed High Elves :stuck_out_tongue: PLayable Sylvanas!

the vast majority of high level zones involve you doing things specifically for the alliance, the most notable 3 being both raids and BRS

there are plenty of low level ones that don’t involve the alliance, but the majority of them are nonesense where there isn’t really an overarching story connection

we knew suramar existed around the well of eternity long…long before legion
and that the those inhabiting the city were the cream of the crop among the kaldorei empire
like…back when WoW was still a baby

it’s odd they survived but it’s not like anything about it came out of nowhere

and beyond the city vanishing after the sundering we weren’t really told what actually happened to the city, it was presumed destroyed but that doesn’t mean it was

So there will be even less people playing on the Alliance side?

why would there be less people on the alliance

if this is about giving blood elves blue eyes, well that is inevitable. they are going to give the blood elves the option to role with blue or golden eyes due to the sunwell eventually

Yeah all those Alliance high elf mains are an absolutely crucial demo as we all know.

Very sneaky, muchacho.

Because High Elves have been one of the biggest requests for years on the Alliance side. If they could actually make them on the Horde side many who have been waiting would just go over to the Horde and do so.

And the OP wasn’t asking for an eye color change for BEs, he is asking for High Elves as a playable race.

I mean… You say that…

But the Horde already has High Elves.

high elves are blood elves

in other words, if you want high elves, youre catered for

And Nightborne are Night Elves. So in other words, if you want night elves, you’re catered for.

See this game is fun for both sides to play!

that’s all that it fundamentally is thought
an eye color change.

we know what high elves look like, because they’ve been in the warcraft games and lore for ages
we have official works of them and cosplayers of them

the “difference” is their eyes
infact we even got a cinematic with relation to what they look like in 8.1 with the fall of the sunwell cinematic

no they’re not.
each faction of elves comes from the kaldorei empire
the nightborne far…far exceed the night elves as we know them because they didn’t become an individual faction until Azshara helped tear the world apart

this caused a massive split and 3 distinct types of elves came from it
