If Sylvanas is deposed and replaced by Saurfang

If Sylvanas is deposed and replaced by Saurfang the traitor I will be done with WoW forever.

  1. If you do not agree with your leaders you work from inside to make change or the people being lead rise up and throw down their leaders. You do NOT join forces with the enemy. Traitors are the worset type of being and should always be destroyed, no quarter.

  2. If Sylvanas is deposed it will be making her out to be “the bad guy”. That will make the horde the bad guys AGAIN.

  3. Blizzard made the quest to “choose sides” basically default to support the traitor Saurfang. Most players don’t actually read the full text of quests so a lot will choose to side with Saurfang when they really didn’t mean to.

I have been in WoW since BC and this is the absolute worst expansion. Having a traitor lead the horde will just put the final nail in the coffin for me.

Lastly, I do not care about any opinions, this is mine and basically posted for Blizzard to see. One man, voting with his wallet.

IF (big ‘if’ I know) Saurfang becomes Warchief , and especially by way of Sylvanas’ hideous demise, then the Horde might…MIGHT …begin regaining some honor.

So burning down a city full of civilians, blighting your own wounded troops and then rezzing them as mindless zombies is not enough to make Sylvannas “the bad guy”?

People all around us are struggling every day with SWS. Blizzard needs to take this seriously. SWS is affecting a large number of people and we believe it’s due to elongated exposure to the plague. Blight has also been seen to have similar effects. If you, or someone you know, has SWS, please rush to the forums and post immediately. Long term side effects of SWS are not currently known but we believe it is a precursor for the undeath condition.

Oh, what is SWS? Why Sylvanas Waifu Syndrome, of course.

Burning of the tree, and killing her own troops wasn’t her being the bad guy, it was her being true to her self, self serving, and it’s war, casualties happen all the time. Ask anyone that’s seen combat, troops get sent in to die daily.

Sadly, that’s not always an option. There are times that Revolution is the only reasonable option. Look at world history. While bloody, sometimes Revolution is the best option.

The writing is on the way, she IS the bad guy. She invades Kul Tiras and the tactics she uses are 100% drawn from the Scourge playbook. No way to try and hem haw around that. Her troops land and the first thing they do is start spraying plague everyone. Scourge Tactics.

in GD there are “rules” and war is “honorable” and atrocities of war only happen with bad guys. it’s just… i wonder how many have ever actually read a book. lol

Name one traitorous thing Saurfang has done. Not allowing Sylvanas’ groupies to disappear him does not count as treason.

If Sylvanus wins and is still in charge of the Horde despite being a complete nihilistic psychopath I think a lot of people will actually quit.

she’s one of the best warchief’s and thrall’s horde is dead. there are just as many for her as are against her. blizz will be making a large group angry regardless of the way it goes. but don’t pretend for a second like you’re some sort of majority. do you know how many belves and undead support her? not to mention people like me who play orcs and tauren?

Don’t worry, they’re not gonna decide the outcome of the story based on quest text that most people skip over. They’ve probably already had to start making the cinematics/cutscenes for 8.3 so the story is pretty much decided already. The quest exists for drama :stuck_out_tongue:

Not sure where you are going with this comment but, yeah, committing atrocities of war such as going out of your way to kill civilians or killing your own wounded troops with a WMD and then rezzing them along with the enemy troops to boost your own count kinda qualifies as being ‘the bad guy’ regardless of the faction represented.

Imagine thinking a warchief who, by her own words, doesnt care about the Horde at all, is a good warchief. A warchief who lied her people into a war. A warchief who kills her own people.

Petition to create a new Horde free from the edgelords who just want to play villans.

yea i dont know how being a warmonger makes u a great leader then again genghis khan was considered a great leader to some bcuz of how much land he conquered so i guess u like those types of leaders?

Look while Im not happy with the story in regards to Sylvanas, not because of the replacement but how we seem to again losing a warchief due to what I see as lazy and poor writing, I wont say Ill be leaving forever just playing lot less definitely.

There are more pressing matters to be addressed in game atm.
