it’s not by far. each blitz game has 16 players. the games also last longer even counting the shorter queue times. comparing 1 shuffle match to a blitz match doesn’t work.

blitz queue times are 2-5 mins for dps even on off hours.

LOL try to play enhance in this meta if you think DH and Warrior have bad mobility. This is 100% a caster (and rogue) meta. If you think melee is too hard to beat now you are better off in blitz.

interesting, because a few days ago blitz had taken over shuffle, seems to have swapped again, or else the data is not reliable, all i can tell you is that there’s almost no one queing over 2k rating in shuffle, que times are 1.5 hr at any given time above 2100 mmr.

actually, 1 shuffle lobby lasts twice as long as 1 blitz lobby, at least. So if this data is accurate, blitz is dying at a very fast rate.

That strengthens my thought that people are stopping after they get their illusion at 1950, holding all the higher mmr hostage rather then mmr being “capped”.

if theres this many people queing tho, someone has to win, ratings should be increasing from 1600- over 2k?

That works until you get to the choke hold of around 2100mmr because the people who were winning stopped participating.

i only stopped because im #1 rated arms in the world, there’s no point to que anymore until people get higher… its kind of annoying. Can’t push legend even if highest rated meta specs are 2200 ish. its just all around bad

Probably when people are 1/2 way to pvp item level cap this season it goes rip.

Because there are way more dps player than healers. How hard is that to understand

I’m curious if there’s a way to track unique players. Just doing quick math, 16927 lobbies x 6 players/lobby is 101562 character interactions.

For blitz, it’s 4949 games x 16 players/lobby or 79184 character interactions.

101562/79184 tells us that there are approximately 28% more QUEUES for solo shuffle than blitz.

I wish the algorithms for mmr were visible :frowning:

The blizz APIs do provide this information, because on sites like drustvar/seramate you can see a person’s recent shuffles and results, but probably would be too much processing

The overwhelming majority of players that participate in World of Warcraft PvP activities are playing battlegrounds.
