I’m assuming the Alliance won’t be able to log-out instantly, as everyone can in any city, because you’d be able to dip when being attacked. The reason you can’t do that in the real world is because people would do it to avoid ganks/mobs.
But this is taking place in a city, where we should be able to log out instantly, so for the first time, we’ll be able to vanish in a combat situation. Right?
There will be an area within Silvermoon city where the Alliance and Horde will be working together. Outside of that area, the rest of Silvermoon will remain as a Horde city, which means no instant log out in those areas.
We’ll have an expansion hub like always. It just happens to be inside silvermoon. Stay in the hub and all is well. Go into the horde city and, well you’ve gone into a horde city. Consequences happen.
I plan on exploring the city, the entirety of it, and putting the Horde to the sword while I’m at it. If Alliance are to be killed on sight might as well give them an excuse
Back in the time of
TBC: This was easily avoided by the Alliance by not going to the Horde part of Silvermoon City.
Now: This is easily avoided by the alliance by not going to the Horde part of Silvermoon City.
The way I think they will go about is as the story progresses, more of the off limit areas become friendly to Alliance, but at the beginning they are wary of the enemy at their doorstep.
