Supposedly we’re gathering the elven tribes, would make sense we could bump into him. 
At least you could be his champion with the tabard. 
edit: I could see a cool crown work with the tabard but i’m not known for fashion mogs.

Farondis was shunned by his people for opposing Azshara.
In Legion they liked him again for doing the same thing?
Never made sense to me.
Oh no, hes 100% shunned still in Legion. You go on a big ol quest to help him try to redeem himself.
I wasn’t clear enough; I do know he was disliked at the start of Legion. Farondis was hated during the Aszuna quests until near the end of the zone storyline, where they started to like him again for standing up to Azshara.
But opposing her was the reason they disliked him in the first place. That’s what confuses me.
I always liked Farondis. He was one of the more chill Night Elven dudes of the day… which was bad for him and his people, but the choices were all bad. Standing against Azshara was a bad move for most folks back in the day.
And he was fairly civil to Horde Characters. Though I do wonder what he would think about Teldrassil should I visit him, again… it’s hard getting that kaldorei ash out of my outfit.
I also wonder what his title means. I can’t think of many with actual royal titles amongst the kaldorei. Is he related to Azshara in the same royal family? Was he part of a royal family that ruled before she came to power? Is it just an honorific?
I always found him interesting. I was a bit bummed out when I found out those Ghost kaldorei in Azuna are in the Alliance Portal room…. as if they have chosen a side. But I will wait and see. Maybe they will be a part of Midnight.
