Certainly not, really dumb game mode. I’d play a real battle royale if that’s the game I wanted to play.

If it never returned, I’d be greatly disappointed. I have a ton of fun in the game mode and it gets my friends to sub and try out the full game. I am sad about the missing trios already as that might make it impossible to get out of my buddies, but I am hoping to get my pal who did sub for this round of it to try regular PvP too (even though it’s very different).

No, because this is not something that any player should be playing with high latency.

I actually enjoyed the mode and could ignore its problems because it was the 1st time last year. But now that it came back with the same few server locations and not even a region matchmaking, I can’t stand playing this with 160+ ms.

Just can’t accept people walking right into my skills and ignoring it while I get to be hit/CCed without even be in that area anymore.

Definitely not. It’s just filler content, and I would rather Blizz focus on pushing the core content in a timely manner. Even true PvPers I know don’t particularly enjoy it because of the randomness of your build, therefore they tend not to see it as a true contest of skill. The vibe I get from folks defending it is that they’re folks who just enjoy ganking, to which I say there’s a reason that PVP servers went the way of the dodo.

And moreover, locking PVE rewards like transmog behind PVP (or even making PVP the best avenue for PVE as happened that one season in DF) is generally very unpopular.

The split second I got the rewards I wanted, I stopped playing it.

So the answer is: I would not miss it, but I’d rather it come back with new rewards than not come back at all (and no other rewards added to anything else).
