I looked at the top 200 logs, like 15o of them are warriors. Btw, how are people doing 500dps?? Bruh

You know the very top logs are essentially bogus right? Look at a 95th log and you will see solid warrior gameplay.
Look at the very top log? You will see the warrior is tanking for extra rage, they let the warrior get the first hit (going from 79 to 80 rage by the 0 second mark), they pulled extra non boss mobs into the boss encounter that are not normally there, the warrior gets a large percent of their damage from Retaliation (normally 0 damage) and cleave (normally 0 damage on single target bosses) and unlimited rage from the boss + 5 adds (that are not part of the fight) hitting them. And the entire raid comp is setup around buffing that warrior specifically, including homonculus for 0 armor enemies. You will also see items from quests/etc that are 1 time use like the 10% attack speed item fishliver oil (among others). They also are using dynamite for aoe on the large pack of adds they purposefully pulled into the fight.
Look at the stats on warcraft logs for 95th percentile to see how classes stack up.
Look at the absolute top logs on any fight to see how much it’s possible to stack the fight and essentially cheat on meters.
While not a warrior there is a druid in my guild with the #1 “tank druid” parse in the world on a certain fight, let’s just say it wasn’t entirely legitimate as they were not a tank

You only parse vs your own class noob. I’m not compared to warriors logs.
Except when there’s 30 warriors in every 40 man raid and they only bring you along for curse of reck

Crits arent normalized in vanilla. You can crit most an encounter if you’re lucky.
…then the stacking deep wounds kicks in and ticks for 1500…

They are only worth what the community thinks they are worth. They hold little to no inherent value.

Doubt, you might tho if you aren’t gold parsing, no one needs 30 warrior who do nothing. People don’t like sharing loot with half the raid.
Its vanilla… Why does everyone think SoD was going to be that different? Its just vanilla with new raids and runes. Thats all Classic + really is. Some people think it was gonna be more retail but nope. Its just vanilla with extra steps.

yes warriors will 100% do more dps than any other class.
but when talking about parses you’re not comparing yourself to other classes you’re comparing yourself to your own class, and usually your own spec. it doesn’t matter which class you are because you’re not comparing to other classes

That is true, but hear me out. People tend to do path of least resistance, if one class is like in another universe on damage, people will stack it.
Why invite Krillin to your raid, when you could have 10 Gokus outside of getting the required buffs/debuffs to enhance your Gokus
On the turtle boss I decided to switch to Sunfire and have starsurge on.
During the boss instead of immediately power shifting when I was out of energy I would starsurge to unshift then reshift. Build up combo points and rip. Etc.
Did a solid 150dps as feral. Was in cat 85% of the time.
The stupid website logged me as balance cuz I used a few starsurges. What should’ve been a 96+ parse was like 70 cuz balance not feral.
Look at all the top ferals for that boss, all are weaving in starsurge and being counted as Feral.
Frustrating.
