If blizzard listens to the normie masses who aren’t paying attention and don’t take the time to learn how to play and NERFS hunters then i’m done. Not doing this roller coaster garbage anymore. For the first time ever i’m having fun with my hunter since the game originally came out.
We have TONS of weaknesses. LEARN THEM. If you get caught in a Double tap combo? that’s when you pop ALL trinkets or defensives.
I can not kill the following classes now who are played by a good player.
Shamans, Priests, Paladins, Monks and DK’s. Every single time once they know an MM hunter is globaling on them if it’s by a good player they stop it and i’m finished.

Umm double tap + aimed shot from stealth is incredibly broken. If you can’t realize that IDK what to tell you. You cannot even see it coming lol. Honestly though if the only way you can have fun as a hunter is by one shotting people then you are playing it for the wrong reasons.

I’d gladly give up the crazy PvP Double Tap, Camo, AS burst if they change some other mechanics to compensate. Perhaps a talent to move while casting Aim Shot.

yeah… this is what happened to DH havoc, the lazy plebs didn’t learn how to counter us (you know, using defensives, interrupts… the things that takes more than 1 neuron to use), so they ended up just destroying us to appease the masses and silence the whining. Sorry but i think the nerfing bat is coming heavy for yall MM hunters. Blizzard doesn’t like to force people to think before pushing buttons.

It depends on the context really, if we’re talking battlegrounds then yeah the whole out of stealth double tap is kinda strong. But with that being said I’m sure a lot of you would also comment on other things you find to be really strong in battlegrounds.
When it comes to arenas, you should generally know the hunters cooldowns and when they’re in stealth as you’re focused on them. So it’s not really a stretch to say you should be able to deal with the situation if they’re doing the whole out of stealth double tap.
The L2P community always asking for a nerf. The never ending circle. I always play BM, don’t even like MM, so okay they made it into a 1shot ability, and them what???

MM has a great opener, but if we can’t pull off our opener we struggle in a sustained fight. That’s the trade-off. Adapt to it and overcome.

Double tap has been a problem in pvp. It being strong is hampering us. If they do nurf us I hope they take a good look and also shore up our other pvp issues.
And yet players who know how to pvp never called us busted or OP. Git gud bro.
Remember how strong Double Tap was at the start of BFA? Remember the one shots and people flooding to MM? Remember the nerfs?

You don’t even know how the spec works, why should anyone listen to you when it comes to nerfs?
Activating double tap may not be interruptible, like 100% of cooldowns, but because it’s tied to Aimed shot it’s very interruptible. It’s called interrupting Aimed Shot. When double tap is used, the MM gets a buff, interrupt the next Aimed Shot and boom, double tap has been interrupted.

A class that has a setup of 3 skills that all on 1m cooldown is hardly about “takes skill” - it’s just the inept developers that are behind MM design. From the moment of Shadowlands announcement the feedback was drowning in replies, overwhelmingly elaborate and people were pointing out the flaws of current system. The oneshots are the combination of old (mm spec) system that wasn’t accounted for a new (kyrian covenant with crit boost and wallhack) and their functionality together. Any hunter will name several options of fixing this, but the developers that are responsible for this will most likely nerf the entire spec instead and not the issue that they’ve themselves have created.
