I’m curious here because some people loved the WoD system of mission tables, some loved Legions, others hated both. Nobody liked BfA’s (lol).
If the mission tables weren’t mandatory for progression, meaning no meaningful gear, lore, or quest progression happened through them, would you do them still?
I basically check in one a day for free rep and gold. It’s fine with me.

If resources came by other means than the same daily quests I had to do over and over again for rep already

I frequently forget my completed missions for weeks. Worthless feature that could have been spent making more covenant exclusive content with meaning! Like the Covenant exclusive minigames… .wait

I kind of liked WoD’s, enjoyed Legion’s, and forgot that BFA’s existed.

I have liked them since wod. Will always do them.
I would do it. I’m not a fan of mission tables really, would rather see those stop. But I am a completionist and want max rank followers. So it demands that I level them first then I’ll drop it. Rewards haven’t mattered much, but I did appreciate the Legion rep tokens.
Personally, if I didn’t have to complete a mission table in order to progress non-table questlines, I wouldn’t ever bother, no matter the rewards. To me, it’s just time-gated reward system for sub-par rewards.
If the rewards were worth it, then maybe. I don’t think 100 rep with a faction is worth doing, or 175 AP. I mean, 8-12 hours for that? No thanks.
What the apiphobic orc said.

As long as they give cosmetic, consumables, rep, gold and other stuff, even without gear, I’d do them.
Are they mandatory right now in BfA?
Doesn’t really feel like it but I still do the rep token, gold, etc because why not.
They kind of are, yeah. You can’t open up–what is it, war fronts?–without doing that intro 2-hour table mission.
What the tables were in 7.3 (reduced times for campaign) is when they were comfortable. Only reason to jump on them hard then were the massive amounts of gold. I enjoyed them back then (for gold reasons) but because it got me invested in caring about the order hall campaigns and gearing for mage tower.
Tables right now are ok, but annoying in that you can’t counter everything. Good that the vision follower orders allow for on demand troops. Sad though they only allow for one of them. Got all 6 followers to legendary and my rank 4 worldvein. Really only care for the weekly island map mission and pet charms.
Gotcha.
I guess my answer would remain the same. I would still do them if all they gave you was a little bit of gold, mats and resources
I ignored them almost this entire expansion
they’re stupid, idle games are stupid

I preferred the Legion one. Yeah I know inflation and all but I prefer gaining massive amounts of gold.
Yes because free rewards by spending a few seconds on each character’s table, I always liked mission tables, what I didnt like was legion’s “do 4 missions first to progress the artifact”

I liked them enough that I did world quest in legion so I could do more.
Running them on the app was great.
Good rewards basically make them mandatory. I don’t do them this expansion because the rewards are basically non-existent.
