If Mechagnomes, Worgen, and Monks, then Naga

For years we’ve been told - hey, ya can’t have Naga. How would they ride mounts? or wear pants? Well Worgen don’t need to ride mounts, and Mechagnomes don’t have most of the armor for Mogs.

But let’s talk about the real reason we need Naga:

  1. Lady Vashj, equally as important to the Outland Resistance as Kael’thas was, got short shrift on the boss billing. Mr. Setback got end-boss treatment in a raid and dungeon. Enough with the pescogyny. Bring on the fish people.
  2. Azshara being snatched allows the rebel Naga to join a faction and attempt to save their brethren. She was too powerful to breakaway from, but now she’s the minion of an Old God. And this is a prime moment for the Alliance to grab the Multi-armed fish-people.
  3. For our next race, we need two things: Not an anthropomorphized animal race; A race that isn’t a human. Things like Naga are human-like with animal modifications. That’s probably the ideal set-up. People prefer augmented humans and we should work to get some of those things in the same.

Monks aren’t really related, but since we made a class without weapons, surely we can make one without feet.

I think the big thing with Naga is how they would place them as playable.

Blizzard has commented they don’t want to do another neutral race like the pandaren. But they can’t make the naga one or the other without pissing people off.

One idea I had was to make two different “groups” of naga, where their lore has one side join the alliance and the other the horde. They’d share the same models and such, but could have different racials and cosmetics (like different mounts and custom options)

This makes no sense lmao. How are you comparing worgen who have LEGS, to Naga? Of course worgen don’t need mounts.

Azshara is twice as evil as Sylvanas could ever be. She is a total sociopath who cares about absolutely nothing but herself.

They’re wrong and they should totally do another neutral race. If there was any race that begged for neutrality, it’s the naga.

It’s also the final main race from WC3 that still remains unplayable. It’s time.
